We love the Sauce on the Blue so we thought we’d try this one and we heard they had a great happy hour. First our waiter told us happy hour was only at the bar. Not true. Another customer gave us the happy hour menu...which clearly stated the patio was included. Our pizza was good but the appetizers were really marginal (shrimp, burrata capers e, fried ravioli. When we got the bill, it was partially ours and partially the table next to ours. When he redid the bill, he left off the happy hour discount for the cocktails and the 10” pizza. We just paid the bill (inflated about $5 and cut our losses. I also heard the folks at the table behind us complaining that the happy hour discount was left off their bill. I can only hope that the food and service inside this very busy restaurant is better. We won’t not be back.More

We had a rehearsal dinner for my son and future daughter-in-law. The venue was fantastic. The food was outstanding. And the staff was even better. Especially Lily, she Was unflappable and made several changes on the fly. Lily made the experience .

Enjoyed a few aperol's here and an appetizer. The waitress was very overworked as they were understaffed, but we still enjoyed sitting by the river and taking in the views.

This restaurant was close to where we were staying in Breck, and it had delicious, fresh food, and a good wine menu. We got the meatballs, a salad, and split a pizza and everything was hot out of the oven and tasty. We also had...a bottle of wine to go with the meal. The service was great and made for a great experience.More

Let me first say that the biggest disappointment here was this is the only restaurant in Breckenridge where the staff was less than friendly. We felt forgot about and ignored. We understand that there is a shortage of staff everywhere right now but that’s no...reason for the staff that is there to ignore you when the restaurant isn’t even half full. The food was just middle of the road, nothing memorable. We had the calamari, Penne Gorgonzola, and Linguine with Clams. The calamari had a good flavor but both other dishes were bland. It was a big let down considering we had a hard time finding the restaurant since the GPS took us to a Mexican food restaurant, but we kept looking till we finally found it.More

Hi Shannon, I'm sorry that your experience with us was less than stellar! We are working hard to get as many staff on board as possible and that has been a limiting factor. Of course that's no excuse for your table being overlooked during service...More

I’m always a bit hesitant to write a stellar review, thinking that some folks may not believe my experience was that extraordinary or perhaps that I was affiliated with the restaurant in some way. But ladies and gentlemen, this place is the real deal! I’ve...eaten in Italy enough to know what’s great and what’s not. And it’s just not the food here, but the overall friendly energy and immediate attention—the chef came out and greeted us upon arrival and even gave us hugs! She was very talented and pushed the culinary envelope to the max! Seriously, don’t waste your time going anywhere else. The very best is right here!More

5 of us went to Sauce on the Maggie. We had a couple of appetizers, a pizza, a couple of entrées and two different desserts. We enjoyed them all. The family size entrees are enough for several people (the menu says 2, but they are...big!). We will definitely go back next time we are in Breckenridge(or where their other two restaurants are).More

We went to Sauce on the Maggie (and another location as well) twice this ski season in Breckenridge. My husband and I really enjoyed the Bolognese and we appreciated the gluten free option. The wine was delicious so we purchased another bottle to take home...with us. Our second trip was not as successful despite having reservations but it was spring break week so I gave them a pass. I will always return to this location while in Breck.More

Not sure where to start. Made reservations for a party of 5 for a birthday dinner. Upon walking in the stench from something(not sure if it was cleaners or the bathrooms) was overwhelming. We should have left right then. We ordered everything family style from...the menu so we could all share it. Starter salad was excellent and fresh. We ordered 2 large pasta dishes(a shrimp one and a veggie one), a eggplant app and a filet mignon. Waitress came to our table after about 40mins to ask what we ordered as our ticket was lost. So after another 40 mins the food finally came out but the forgot to bring or cook the filet... 30mins later nothing...hour later nothing. Finally filet comes out, meanwhile the entire table was/had been done for an hour. We were patient and going with the flow. A man came to our table many times to apologize and ended up comping the filet and 2 desserts. Nice gesture, we took it and tipped well despite this fiasco. Cannot recommend this place as it was so unorganized and was not that busy due to being at 25% capacity due to covid. Very weird experience.More

WONDERFUL! We happened in on opening day for the season in Breckenridge. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and our server Nicole was fantastic. We enjoyed our time with them all immensely. But let’s talk about the food. Incredible. Chef Erica came out and...talked to us about her dishes which was an added bonus. We started with the mussels. The green sauce she serves with the dish is delightful. It’s completely unlike any other mussels I’ve had before. Yum. We finished up with the arugula pizza and the sausage rigatoni. Bravo Sauce on the Maggie. We wish you all the best.More
