About
Quandary Tequila Bistro is a locals favorite on the south side of Breckenridge. We are located where Main Street meets the mountain. Located on the corner of South Park Ave. and Main Street, inside the Hyatt Main Street Station plaza. Our Tequila Bistro serves a variety of Southwestern inspired dishes – from tacos to a tomahawk steak. Our full bar features over 200 tequilas along with local beer on tap! Our huge sunny deck overlooking Peak 9, Peak 10, and the Maggie pond makes a great place to warm up after a day on the slopes.

First off the name has change so maybe that’s why we didn’t get good service or good food like so many other reviews mentioned. There were only 5 tables with customers. It took 25 minutes to get 2 margaritas. I ordered a spicy Margarita &...it had no spice at all. It was watered down. The table next to us sent theirs back due to bad taste & not being spicy. Took another 25 minutes to order food. Food was just ok. Tacos were cold. Service not good. Didn’t seem like anyone really wanted yo be there.More

We actually stumbled upon this place by accident trying to find a different restaurant but we’re so glad we ended up here! Wide selection of liquor, not just tequila, but amazing marg’s and tequila options. Great service by the bartender!! We got the egg rolls...to start, then the chicken sandwich and grilled chicken entree. The mango Chutney!! Holy cow. Definitely will be back next year when we visit breck again.More

While staying in Breckenridge, we had dinner at Quandary. Our server, Kenan, was excellent. My husband left his credit card one night and Kenan remembered him the next day. He was so extremely helpful. Also, had dinner at the bar one night, Kensie, was the...bartender and he was excellent as well. The service was prompt but not too quick. It allowed us to enjoy our dinner and not feel rushed. The chicken tacos were very good, well seasoned and all white meat chicken. The burger was cooked perfectly and fries were hot and fresh. We had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Cyndi and had a delightful conversation with her. All around, great experience.More

We were in Breckenridge for the art festival. This restaurant is in the Villages, which is where the art festival was. We stopped in for a snack & drinks. We ordered the deep fried cactus and the pioneer eggrolls. We weren't sure what to expect...with the cactus. The dish has small pieces of cactus with breading. It was actually pretty good. The eggrolls were good. My husband got the Spicy Casa Margarita. Normally spicy margaritas aren't that spicy. This one was & it was good, Brittany was our server. She was very attentive & friendly.More

Many alcohol choices. Had been doing a pre-ski here all week. Even more tequila choices. But….the 38 oz. Tomahawk Rib-Eye, was one of the best we’ve ever had. Keep in mind you need to reserve this at least a day in advance. Our group of...4, chose to get an assortment of small salads, a few apps, and then waited for the custom prepared Rib-Eye. It came with mashed potatoes, and broiled squash/zucchini. But of course, the high light was the tomahawk, where the bone was cut off at our table. This was taken care of by Brittany, who’ll you’ll want to request, since incredibly bubbly and added to our dinner experience. But, back to the Rib-Eye, perfectly prepared medium rare, and if your a big steak eater you may want to have less than 4 share this steak. We were all happy splitting, and had some extra when done. Don’t forget to sprinkle the pink Himalayan sea salt lightly across, the surface of the rib eye, then add the supplied herb butter layer, and be sure to allow to melt fully, for this to be specially prepared. We found we couldn’t wait, for the herb butter to melt and just dipped the rib-eye, into the au jus, found under the Rib-Eye. And did I forget to say, one of the best Tomahawk Rib—Eye’s we’ve had.More

Quandary occupies a great space at the main intersection before heading into Main Street Breckenridge. It's outdoor seating has a beautiful view of the ski hill and the water in front of it. (Nearby parking is limited.) We did an early dinner on a weekday...afternoon in August and had 7 in our party. We were able to be seated right away and were able to enjoy a leisurely meal without being rushed. There are a variety of items on the menu many featuring local ingredients (though it was hard to distinguish elk, bison and beef entrees) with a nod to southwestern cuisine. We did chips and salsa and pork carnitas as appetizers. They were small plates though we did get chips refilled. The salsas were great. Our order was taken relatively quickly, and food came out staggered. One ordered was incomplete (no chicken on the salad) and it did take some time for that order to come back out. The tacos were also small bites -- not very filling even with a double order. Our entrees ranged from $11-16. With two alcoholic drinks and one soda, the bill for 7 without tip was $141.81. Glasses of wine were $11 and $12. The waiter David was very friendly and competent even filling us in on the local insects like the hummingbird moth. It was nice place to gather and enjoy the view after an afternoon of shopping in Breckenridge.More
