The ideas of the menu were great, but there execution was flawed. My meal "Chefs fish of the day" (cannot remember the exact title) was pure salt. My wife meal wasn't anything that excited the pallet.

The menu offers some very innovative dishes like a Raman noodles with lobster, pork belly etc. prices are a bit on the high side, but this reflects the popularity of the eatery on Main Street.

We've stopped for drinks and appetizers for years, but on a whim went in for an early dinner on a rainy July evening. We were seated in a pleasant if unspectacular upstairs table, enjoyed attentive servce and were very pleased with both the breadth of the menu and the quality of the food. We'd recommend to anyone looking for a... More

The atmosphere is fine but not great. I had the pork chop which was touted as being tender. Not so, it was very dry. The vegetable relleno and black beans that came with it were fairly good. My husband had the prime sirloin steak which also was disappointing. No real flavor and I question its prime grading. The bone marrow... More

Nice restaurant. Looking at the menu, I had high expectations. Everything sounded amazing...what I was served was quite the opposite over-cooked steak and cold corn on the cob ugh!! Excellent wine list, cool environment, excellent waitress, great cocktails, food so-so. Won't be back.

A large family group was able to get in after receiving several local recommendations to eat at Modis. The menu offers a variety of choices and the service was excellent. I had the pork chops which was amazing. The prices are reasonable for Breckinridge and the restaurant is easy to find in downtown. They have excellent drinks and the beer... More

We had a full dinner but for a lighter meal check out the generous happy hour pricing. We loved both the spicy mussels and charcuterie. Decent wine list by the glass too. Cool ambience in an older building incl. a huge antique backbar moved to the dining room.

I so want this to be my local. I went with 4 other people (the first time) and ordered a variety of dished. I could have eaten anything on the menu, it all sounded great, but I ended up ordering a starter and salad. My starter was called Peas Peas Peas (a seasonal dish) and it was a combination of... Best hand crafted designer drinks on the planet. Better than NYC. Snag a coveted seat at the small bar and watch the masters at work. They are amazing and cool! 12 bucks a pop for a handmade libation but so worth it. 10 star rating on their designer drinks. Beautifully made and presented. Haute liquid nutrition!
