Booked the Valentine's Day special. The ambiance was great and the service was amazing. The three-course meal was great other than the filet mignon being really dry. They also make a great mule with peach vodka.

They seem to be handling the ups and downs of Covid well. The menu is simple and the quality of service was good, which is all that can be asked in these odd times

Just had a wonderful Christmas “to go” dinner. Salad was fresh, prime rib, with fingerling potatoes and mushrooms, was well prepared, and cheesecake parfait dessert was tasty, too. Curbside pickup was well organized. So good, plan to order their New Year’s Eve “to go” dinner.

We enjoyed breakfast and dinner here while staying at the hotel. The restaurant has kept the original tile floor which was a nice touch in keeping with the history of the place. The food was good, not great, but I would recommend the Rosemary chicken...sandwich.More

Weekday morning. Oatmeal and granola. Hard to go wrong with those, and the Hotel Boulderado did them well. Service was attentive.

We were staying in the Hotel Boulderado and this was their breakfast venue. My only initial complaint was that it was NOT easy initially to determine where the hotel served breakfast... Their website could use some work. Once my wife or I figured it out,...we decided we'd probably eat there (though we explored other options nearby as walk-able backup plans). When breakfast time came, we wandered down to the lobby and found this place just opening. It was COVID season, so the staff wore masks. I think patrons had to wear them walking to the tables. The menu seemed slightly limited, but we both found options we liked. The breakfast platters / specials appeared to be too much food for me, so I opted for a few selections from the a la carte menu. My one pancake and bacon was quite good! My wife liked her platter also, though I had to help a bit to finish it. Our table was in what looked like a finished (former) porch, so we got to do a bit of people-watching out on the adjacent sidewalk. I'd recommend this seating area over the more view-limited main dining room, actually. I'd consider another breakfast here if I stayed at the Boulderado again.More

My daughter is relocating from New York and our family had a farewell dinner together. Service with Brandon was impeccable. The Brussel Sprouts and cauliflower appetizer was flavorful and plentiful. We had salmon salads, a sweet potatoes baguette and the chefs special wahoo were all...taste sensations. The Boulder mule and Chardonnay were perfect, as well. We’ll be back!More

The hostess was beyond friendly and attentive. The server, McKinley, was fantastic. The food was to die for. From the trout to the angus burger, it was great.

Not sure why this place is not more highly rated online, our meal was exceptional and it is obvious a highly qualified chef is doing his thing. We have traveled extensively worldwide and this meal ranks right up there. The entrees are presentations and the...ingredients work together, that is all that needs to be said. This is not just an entree and a side thrown on a plate. The tuna entree on menu was amazing. Just go!More

I've had the good fortuned to enjoy several meals at Spruce Farm and Fish. I've had brunch, lunch and dinner - and even bellied up to the bar. I've always had lovely experience. Their service and quality of food is always consistent. They are traditional...but innovative so even old favorites get dressed up with a delicious flare. This is a must on your list for yourself and when you have friends from out of town.More
