The atmosphere is great and the menu reads interesting... But our food was over cooked and a bit greasy. I was a little disappointed.

Zolo is not your typical Mexican joint. A little on the pricey side, it boasts a "new" Southwestern style menu with a few classics like tacos and enchiladas. I had the lamb shank, not something you'd typically see on a menu at one of these places. It was pretty good, however it came with a side of some pretty uninspired... More

We were completely impressed with Zolo, from the patio seating to the knowledgable and friendly service to the really great and varied food & drink. A perfect red Sangria, not too sweet. Delicious beers and very nice wines by the glass. The happy hour drinks and snacks are quite good, especially the Tamale, which was way above average in flavor,... More

To satisfy our graving for Mexican food, we chose to eat at Zolo Grill. As we waited for a couple of people, we started with an order of Guacamole and homemade corn chips ($8). The chips came slightly warm. The Guacamole had a slight kick to it. One person ordered a Zolo burger ($12). This standard item satisfied a hearty... More

We make family at the restaurant. The food and service was good. The atmosphere was pleasant. It was quiet enough to carry on conversation, so we could catch up.

Met with my old friend at Zolo Grill for happy hour - yummy!! This place has great Happy Hour and great Happy Hour Food. We tried the bacon and figs, we had some ribs and of course chips and salsa. I also had several Sangria's - so good. I then had a beautiful Cesar salad - highly recommend. I also... More

This was not our first time here, but as always, I loved every mouthful. When we are in Boulder and in the mood for Mexican food, this is the only place we go. Sitting outside was lovely, the food is outstanding and it is easy to get to. I'd say it is a "Don't Miss" for a relaxing and delicious... More

Chicken enchiladas excellent as always; but carnitas were dry. Fish tacos were unremarkable. Service was extremely slow. The portions were also inconsistent - enchiladas very generous, other main dishes were not. House margaritas are very good. Wasn't a good value this time but we'll try again.

We had the rainbow trout. The sauteed kale under the trout was over salted. The trout and blue corn grits were delicious. Service was a little slow. But mountain view on outside patio was great.

The best enchiladas that I've ever had! We sat on the patio which was nice. The service was friendly and good. Yes, chips/salsa cost extra. This is normal where we live, so we weren't bent out off shape about it. We chose the guacamole dip. It was delicious. We would definitely visit again.
