When I used to live in Boulder and then on numeroussubsequent visits I've eaten at Zolo many, many times, and thought it was above the pack. Now, I feel like something happened as the last two visits were unsatisfactory. Had to return drinks two visits ago, and this time the food (two smoked chicken salads) was just mediocre. Lot of... Stopped in for lunch on a trip to Boulder. The guacamole and queso were delicious. The salsa was also excellent. We tried the squash soup which was also delicious. I had the brisket torta which was good. It is served with a mountain of fries! My fiancé had a salad which she really enjoyed! Worth a visit.

Full disclosure I attended an event and did not have to pay for my meal at Zolo. That said THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD. The tamales, guacamole, and banana pie was delicious. Even the after-dinner coffee was really good. Zolo's price has deterred me from coming to eat in the past, but after sampling the fair I will most likely... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants. We love sitting on the patio during the day or in the evening under the strung patio lights. Their menu is great for families, a complex palate of tastes for adults and a more simple menu for children. Their brunch is pretty amazing too!

A "southwestern" restaurant with a Mexican flair. Excellent service, excellent food, and great atmosphere. We didn't have a reservation and were first put in a rather high traffic area, and the manager surprisingly moved us (without us even asking). From the time we ordered to the time we received our meal, it was maybe 10 min! The portions are huge!!... More

I always get the tamale. The combination of flavors is amazing. The presentation is lovely. The wait staff are great. What's not to loke?

I had the BBQ pork torta. It was extremely dry and no BBQ taste. The fries that came with them were also dry. Their chips and salsa was delicious however.

We went there for dinner because it was close to the movie theatre. There food was really interesting and tasty, as were the drinks. I recommend highly, but not if you like bland, non spicy food.

Great food with a great atmosphere. I always go here when I visit altar. The service can be somewhat slow. But the thing makes up for it. Must try the blue fried oysters.

Just across the parking lot from the Marriott. Great happy hour small plates and wine. Dinner was fish tacos, excellent, and salmon, very good. Choice of inside, outside or covered area for dining. Attentive staff, reasonable prices.
