Wow, has this place slipped. The sweet and sour was drowned in some sort of red sauce. The food arrived late, the check was presented before we were finished and we had to ask twice for an extra plate. They were also pretty stingy on the rice sides. What's more, we were asked to order by number, as if it... More

Spring rolls were good, seafood dishes average, soup not what authentic thai should be, service friendly and fast, food average quality, not on par with the likes of an Asian fusion restaurant near by which was outstanding with fresh cilantro, scallions, mint, etc.Needs a good thorough cleaning. The floors were dirty, so we're the bathrooms. Was a bit disappointed since we all love Thai food.

We tried this place for lunch in our search for a good Thai restaurant in Boulder. Don't bother going to Khow Thai. Grungy and dirty looking inside and we should have left before sitting down but we've tried hole in the wall spots in the past that were good. Entrees are served with soup and spring rolls. Soup was a... More

Labeling a Thai restaurant in North America "average" is both a compliment and damning. The standard for Thai food here is pretty dang high, in my experience, and this place offers very good Thai fare. That said, the idea I'm not offered the opportunity to enjoy a Singh Ha or any other beer with my Thai meal borders on offensive... More

The parking lot is awkward and super cramped - just like the tables inside, set at angles around a curved wall that wedges people in when they sit on one side. The interior in general is shabby, dated, cheap and a little unkempt. The service was slow even though the small restaurant wasn't full. The food was surprisingly average, if... More

By far the worst Thai food we've ever had, anywhere in the world (and we've eaten it all over, including in Thailand). We got takeout here for a change because it has won "Best of Boulder" on many occasions. Firstly, all food was pretty cold by the time if arrived - that which did even arrive (one dish was missing).... More

It may have been a bad night. Usually it was a reliable Thai food place. This time I was rather disappointed. The chicken dish was too salty and the chicken was undercooked and rubbery. Quite disappointing. It is a local place for us so I would hate to give up on it. The service is friendly but the food needs... More

We went early on a Saturday evening and by the time we left the restaurant was FULL. Locals really like the place. We were a group of seven and they missed one of our meals. They were pleasant and did bring the dish. We didn't have to pay for the missing meal and they provided the table with dessert. Portions... More

Khow Thai serves both lunch and dinner. I had lunch there - black pepper beef. The waitress served me soup and a spring roll with sweet and sour dipping sauce - I had barely finished my soup when my entree arrived - rice on one plate, and black pepper beef on the other platter. Portion sizes were generous, and service... More
