Wonderful cafe with very delicious food and great staff - the portions are very generous, luckily you can ask for a takeaway box.

I recently visited Boulder last week. My daughter is a grad student, and we went there after a wonderful hike. The cafe was very cozy with a lot of regulars. I had a GREAT latte (salted caramel), as did she (walnut latte). Both were excellent....I had a fantastic eggs benedict sort of dish with a dill sauce that was just super! I will try to make this at home, but I doubt it will be as good. We both had the delicious blueberry cornbread. Loved it! I am going to make this too! All in all, we loved it (she loves it and goes there often). I will surely go again when I visit her!More

We showed up a few minutes after they opened, and this place already had a dozen people sitting out front. I had orange juice (fresh squeezed?!?!?!), scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes and banana bread. The eggs were cooked properly… dry but not dried out. The potatoes...were a tad spicier than I’m accustomed to breakfast potatoes being, but they were good… cooked but not dry, still firm, tasty. The banana bread was served cold, not freezing but below room temperature. It was firm, with a good texture and taste but very few nuts. Service was prompt and efficient. Everyone in the place seemed happy.More

First the presentation of the food was great. Then the taste was excellent! Very well done in a timely fashion! Great sitting outside. Jody (one of the chef's) came around and delicately asked how everything was, with out interrupting our conversation! Fun experience, indeed!

We were looking for a late lunch and couldn’t be happier that we found it at this cafe. The food was great as were the chai teas. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, positive energy. Really good food. Indoor and outdoor dining. Seems to be especially popular for breakfast.

We visited this local establishment while visiting Boulder. It was a quick seating for a very busy place, which was great. Now on to the rough areas....we received waters within a few moments of sitting down (one had ice, one had no ice but little...black floaties). We asked for a new water it never came. We ordered our food which was good, and priced for the portions. Our drinks remained empty the entire time even asking our gentleman waiter 3x for refills. We definitely get being busy. We asked for butter and it never came either. The pretty bad service brought down the atmosphere and the food. Not sure I’d return.More

I've had some really seriously bad pancakes in my time, but these are the worst (second worst were in Alexandria Virginia and third worst were at Ritz Carlton).

We visited both of their Boulder locations and this one was definitely the best. Everything was really good but the coffee cake was worth the trip alone. I’m usually a one-bite type of girl but I had to stop myself from finishing the whole thing!

I ordered the granola chocolate chip pancakes and they were big fluffy pancakes that looked like they were missing the chocolate, bananas and granola. For some reason, they sink into the pancake and were still there. They are delicious. My daughter ordered a club sandwich...that also looked delicious. We could hear several of the waitstaff than regulars for coming back multiple times. The service was generally good, too. It does have a daily pie special but unfortunately were too full to try it.More

I have eaten here many many times over the years. In recent years I've been vegan and eating out can often feel cumbersome. Walnut, at least for breakfast, has it nailed down. With their Boulder Scramble and oat milk latté, a vegan can order and...enjoy without a laundry list of questions! It's always a relief to know in advance what I'm going to get when ordering vegan. Every time it is filling and super yummy. Oh, and the staff (all of them!) are the best of Boulder! There isn't another place in town with friendlier service!More

In 1989, this place was one of the 1st breakfast places I went to as an entering freshman @CU Boulder. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was still there while visiting with my family. The decor is very much the same and it’s still...as good too. We ordered the YoYo Wrap, Breakfast burrito, BLT and chocolate chip pancakes. The Boulder Latte was great as well! The wait to be seated was totally worth it. And our server was awesome.More

We only waited about 5 minutes to get seated, but the line got much longer after we were seated. The staff were awesome. The food was really comfort-style brunch with multiple egg selections, fabulous Belgian waffles, and potatoes that were a hit with us. Thanks.
