Great atmosphere, positive energy. Really good food. Indoor and outdoor dining. Seems to be especially popular for breakfast.

We visited this local establishment while visiting Boulder. It was a quick seating for a very busy place, which was great. Now on to the rough areas....we received waters within a few moments of sitting down (one had ice, one had no ice but little...black floaties). We asked for a new water it never came. We ordered our food which was good, and priced for the portions. Our drinks remained empty the entire time even asking our gentleman waiter 3x for refills. We definitely get being busy. We asked for butter and it never came either. The pretty bad service brought down the atmosphere and the food. Not sure I’d return.More

I've had some really seriously bad pancakes in my time, but these are the worst (second worst were in Alexandria Virginia and third worst were at Ritz Carlton).

We visited both of their Boulder locations and this one was definitely the best. Everything was really good but the coffee cake was worth the trip alone. I’m usually a one-bite type of girl but I had to stop myself from finishing the whole thing!

I ordered the granola chocolate chip pancakes and they were big fluffy pancakes that looked like they were missing the chocolate, bananas and granola. For some reason, they sink into the pancake and were still there. They are delicious. My daughter ordered a club sandwich...that also looked delicious. We could hear several of the waitstaff than regulars for coming back multiple times. The service was generally good, too. It does have a daily pie special but unfortunately were too full to try it.More

I have eaten here many many times over the years. In recent years I've been vegan and eating out can often feel cumbersome. Walnut, at least for breakfast, has it nailed down. With their Boulder Scramble and oat milk latté, a vegan can order and...enjoy without a laundry list of questions! It's always a relief to know in advance what I'm going to get when ordering vegan. Every time it is filling and super yummy. Oh, and the staff (all of them!) are the best of Boulder! There isn't another place in town with friendlier service!More

In 1989, this place was one of the 1st breakfast places I went to as an entering freshman @CU Boulder. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was still there while visiting with my family. The decor is very much the same and it’s still...as good too. We ordered the YoYo Wrap, Breakfast burrito, BLT and chocolate chip pancakes. The Boulder Latte was great as well! The wait to be seated was totally worth it. And our server was awesome.More

We only waited about 5 minutes to get seated, but the line got much longer after we were seated. The staff were awesome. The food was really comfort-style brunch with multiple egg selections, fabulous Belgian waffles, and potatoes that were a hit with us. Thanks.

My Husband and I love this place for brunch. Plain Jane omelet/ scramble is always good, as well as the breakfast potatoes, GF pancakes, and banana bread. They also have an espresso bar with great lattes. They did mix up our order once, after we...had been waiting a very long time, however, they comp’d our meal which was unexpected and really the right thing to do. We prefer the South location in Boulder and still need to check out the super mini one in Lafayette (which is probably closer to home for us).More

Lately it's been rare to find GREAT service and GREAT food! Place has a super friendly vibe and the owners are hands on out in front and everyone had a smile. Will definitely be back next time in Boulder. Just a cool spot:)

They don't take reservations but the wait usually isn't that long.
