We were there a few weeks ago for dinner and it was just great! From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by a lovely hostess who easily obliged our request to sit outside. The wait staff was right on us within a minute! We ordered the onion soup because we heard it was great...and it was!... More

I've eaten here twice (once by myself at the bar) and with friends in the dining room. I love there high quality variety of food and wine. Their dessert is definitely worth trying too.

The service was amazing - our waiter was fantastic, comical and made sure we had a great meal. The food was really great although my rib eye was a little under cooked and had a lot of fat. My wife and son had fillet's and I have to admit, they scored on their meal. The starters were fantastic and we... More

I have such mixed feelings here, it is already crowded if you get there late on certain nights. But they deserve a pat on the back. Great drinks, wonderful food and the service is always with a smile. The atmosphere is upscale pub (speaking of the bar). Try the French Onion Soup, Mussels and the fabulous Bison Burger. My husband... More

Both times I've dined here were during happy hour. We sat in the bar area and ordered from the bar menu. While I don't usually order mussels, my daughter wanted some and I thought they were delicious! I ordered the prime rib once and the steak frites the second time. I was very pleased with both food and drinks. The... More

Bartender, Gabriel is straight out of a movie! Sincere, fun and attentive. Waiter, Chris is hilarious and who ultimately made us continue to come back. Oh...and the food is awesome!

Visiting Boulder for the first time and staying opposite at the St Julien Hotel, friends recommended The Chophouse for dinner on our first night. It was incredibly busy and we had a large party of 13 including plenty of young kids but the Chophouse were great in accommodating all of us. The food was good without being outstanding given the... It is elegant, the service is very attentive, and the food is delicious. That being said, this is not a top notch steakhouse. If that is what you are after you may have to head to Denver :(

This place has the atmosphere and the service but not necessarily an outside the box chef. Steaks were adequately tasty but lacked spice and flavor of a Ruth Chris or Morton's. The plates were not garnished and had no extras that might suggest a signature dish. Presentation was uncreative. I will say the service was excellent and the scotch selection... More

Excellent service – attentive but not over-bearing. The timing between courses was just right – not at all rushed but without gaps. Calamari appetizer, Dortmunder Lager, cocktails, wedge salad and bread pudding were all excellent. Problems – the prime rib was anything but prime. It was one of the worst pieces I have ever had – full of gristle and... More
