Fun vibe, not so great as a group

I ate here with work as part of a group of 25. Quality always suffers at scale but a few things in particular stood out. We were given a set menu which was a salad for starter - boring, ice berg lettuce and bits; main which was steak only available Medium or chicken. We "negotiated" to have all... read more

Great selection of local beers plus their own brewery on site makes for a good time. Try the nachos while drinking a delicious Buffalo Gold.

Sure, it is another micro-brew pub, but it is not a chain. It has its own beers and great menu paired with them. My son had the chicken waffles and thought they were great. I have always enjoyed the nachos and even adding beef or chicken, the nachos are moderately priced. There are also several TVs mounted around the walls... More

Have visited the Walnut Brewery regularly (a couple of times each January while visiting Boulder for a meeting) for the past 20 years. The beer on-tap is great and the food is quite good. Definitely will continue to make Walnut Brewery my "go-to".

We went with some friends and the service was extremely slow and the waitress must have been having a bad day because she was annoyed that we asked for our double shot cocktails in a small glass versus the tall glass because we wanted it diluted with less soda. Not a big deal but she didn't have to seem so... More

Don't even contemplate on where to go. Stop into Walnut for THE best fish and chips we've ever had. Fried salmon? Bring it on. Plenty for 2 to split. It was awesome. And don't forget to grab a beer. Great selection. Plenty of TV's. Great service. Friendly staff. Can't go wrong. I could go on but you get my point

Had dinner there for the third time recently. Six of us after a recruiting event. Three had my fave two am burger (with hashbrown, bacon, egg and cheese) quite delicious always. One person had fish tacos also and she enjoyed them alot, another had Santa Fe Chicken Salad and loved it. For apps we had wings, pretzels (they are known... More

We had the cheeseburger and the chicken and waffles. The burger was very good, moist and delicious. My companion had the chicken and waffles and loved it. Moderately priced with a neat and eclectic restaurant/brewery.

Being in Boulder it is not too surprising that the Walnut Brewery has a more eclectic menu than a typical pub. I had fish tacos which were very good and my wife had a kale salad. They have standard burgers and such but you can also find good vegetarian options. The beer was also quite good. They have a wide... More

My guy and I were in town (first time) for a concert and thought we'd check Boulder out first. Stopped in for a beer and snack. Great happy hour prices 3$ drafts and apps are good prices too! We tried the artichoke crab dip and the ipa, everything was great! Including our service. Nice outside patio too :)
