We were invited to a retirement party for a local surgeon. A total of 150 guests showed up. The food—appetizer platters essentially—was very good. Drinks were delivered quickly and were good. Our servers were Carol, Kate, Dan, and Daniel. They all did a great job...and we all had a great time. Thank you.More

Pretty quiet for a Thursday...............but that is A OK. Made a reservation for the first time and it worked out well/ DID order different items this time.....I had the HH fish Bowl. hubby had the mac and cheese and a caesar salad with chicken. Fish...bowl a nice change.....will go back to the burger tho. hubby enjoyed his items.....said the salad was great w/o the chicken. I splurged on 2 glasses of cabernet...hubby had iced tea. Friends had fish and chips and the fish bowl. The IG hilight was mud pie bites for dessert. de-lish! Our bill came to $54 w/ tip........friends paid for their food/drinks separately.. Prices have gone up...but it was all worth it.More

Cooking has gotten to me....needed a break. AND the Boulder Cork did NOT disappoint. Creatures of habit, we again had the mac n' cheese and two chiliburgers. ALL was delish...and our server was attentive. Including tip, the bill was under $40.00. And we will try...something different NEXT time.More

The dinner at Boulder Cork was excellent. The prime rib sandwich, lean made to order was great. Mushrooms sauté were great. Service was very good.

Another visit to the Boulder Cork left me once again more than pleasantly surprised after enjoying a superior End Cut Prime Rib cooked to (medium rare) perfection. Rarely does one find a Prime Rib as exceptional as the one served up at this establishment!?! Aside...from the superb highlight, all accompaniments and service were simply outstanding this go around: The Buffalo Stampede cocktail was a both brilliant and extraordinarily wonderful route to beginning the meal coupled with the house-made served warm waffle potato chips. Be certain to save room for dessert as both the Mud Pie and New York Cheesecake are a solid way to conclude one' s meal. With all that said, would definitely return to this well priced establishment.More

Still trying to figure out what kind of restaurant this place is as the menu has everything from prime rib to enchiladas to a hamburger! We had made reservations and indicated we wanted outdoor dining and called ahead to ensure we would sit at a...table on the patio. Got there and only inside tables available. Sat in the back room and had flies swarming us during the whole dinner. Then our waiter disappeared so we flagged down another server and we were told that our waiter had gone home. Poor service and food was average.More

My curbside pick-up experience wasn't the best. I ordered the Caesar salad, flatiron steak, and some focaccia bread thinking I'd have a nice salad with some warm bread and the steak. Well, the salad was indeed very good, but the bread must have been kept...in the fridge from yesterday's offerings because it was literally cold to the touch and overly dry. No olive oil was included with the take out which I guess I would have expected - maybe not(?). I had not had a flatiron steak before and I guess I should have done more research. I found the cut to be EXTREMELY fatty (60% meat/40% fat). Perhaps that is typical for that cut, but I'd be surprised if that were the case as this was just not good. The chimichurri sauce was flavorful, but it couldn't save the fatty meat for me. The roasted potatoes and grilled carrots were fine. I will give the Boulder Cork another try in the future with a different cut of meat and a dine-in experience to see if it is any better. I will say that the curbside pickup was convenient and available at the time which was promised.More

My boyfriend brought me here for a birthday dinner a few weeks ago. I was severely disappointed. We've been told that this was a fantastic restaurant that we should check out, so we decided to go. I completely understand that Covid-19 has, unfortunately, interfered with...many restaurants' abilities to function at their highest capabilities & I am certainly not one too judge too harshly during these terrible times, but this was just absurd. We ordered the crabcakes as an appetizer, which were quite tasty actually, but not aesthetically pleasing at all. They weren't even cakes; they looked like they were just balls of crab sort of mushed together but also sort of falling apart.. As our entrees, my boyfriend ordered the prime rib. Mind you, this is a $50 meal. It does not come with ANYTHING. Anything at all. He ordered it medium and when it came out, it looked like it had barely even been cooked., bleeding all over the plate. I complained to the waitress that this was not acceptable to eat. Instead of making a new dish, she proceeded to TAKE BACK the steak (after we had already taken bites of it) to cook it more... during covid... putting it back on the grill.... or maybe she even microwaved it I couldn't tell you. The rib was also very fatty, literally looked like they picked it up at Wal Mart, it was a terrible piece of meat. I ordered the scallops, which clearly say they are corn-crusted. They were not. I don't even think they were seasoned. Just placed on the grill as-is and brought out to me. Like I said, I understand these are very tough times. But I felt EXTREMELY bad for my boyfriend bringing me here for a birthday dinner and spending nearly $300 on a meal that was barely even worth $20 total. So ridiculous. I'm sorry to say but we will not be coming back.More
