Great food and excellent service. Fun and lively atmosphere with a diverse menu from burgers to burritos to salads and more. Fantastic selection of beers on tap. All very affordable prices. In the mood to play a board game or Jenga? They hand everything games too you can play at your table.

As a local I find this place super overrated. Tends to attract the Boulder Bro stereotype and tech start-up crowd. Cash only which sucks, and mediocre food + hard benches.

Excellent!! The Date Night Burger was amazing!! The staff was friendly and prompt. The restaurant was clean and had a great vibe about it... A definite stop if you're in Boulder..

Easy place to feel comfortable. Enjoy the atmosphere, the food, the beer along with the great people watching. Nothing not to love about the Mountain Sun!

My wife & I went with another couple after a long hike near Boulder. We were at first put a few by the noise & that there was a 20 minute wait. We decided to stay & have a beer while we waited. The beer was delicious & just what we needed after a strenuous hike. The food was fantastic... More

If you go at meal time the noise is deafening. Just don't. Grew brews. Not the place to go to have a serious talk. Or really good food. Pretty boring hamburgers and fries. Have seen them drop it in the kitchen, pick it up, back on the plate and out to the customer who never know.

I have been coming to the sun from day one. The colorado kind ale is so kind. The new outdoor seating is great for people watching. You will find me there!

My husband had "the best IPA" that he's ever had, so if you like IPAs come here. I really enjoyed their Kolsch. The service was top notch, super friendly and responsive. the food was very good, really great tempeh rueben, veggie burrito, and mac and cheese. Super filling after a lot a hiking up in the Flatirons.

Had fun here for lunch. Great service and an endless choice of beer tastings, I did nine. Only had hummus and chips, but others in my group said the food was good. Just a nice little funky spot to pop in on.

This restaurant is always a family favorite. There are a lot of choices for beer and food, including kid friendly nachos.
