Funky little place -- in an old house -- with really tasty breakfast/brunch options. We had the eggs New Orleans (a variation on eggs Benedict, using perfectly crispy fried slices of eggplant instead of English muffins, topped with savory Creole sauce, with a side of grits) and the Cajun breakfast (poached eggs atop red beans cooked with lots of meat,... This place was fantastic. Unique, great service, great food, and reasonable. We had a large group of 21 and our server never missed a beat. I think between us all we had most of the items on the menu and all were great. I highly recommend the Cajun Mary (their version of the Bloody Mary) it is one of the... More

We come to this restaurant whenever we visit Boulder. Today the food was cold, not very good and the "fresh" fruit was fermented pineapple and moldy berries. When the cashier / manager asked how the food was and I told him, he just shrugged. I think they are resting on their laurels here.

Great juice and beignets... although having 4 is a lot for 2 people! My husband had the pancakes, eggs, and sausage - and it was enough for a family of 4! My Egg Sardou was good as well and huge. Creamed spinach and eggs were a great combo. However, the shrimp tasted off to me and I managed to eat... More

First of all the service was awful. Got seated by a grumpy hostess at a table that was jammed into the corner. Received the regular menu, did not receive the one with the day's specials (I saw that one on my way out). Asked the also grumpy waitress if there were specials and she just pointed to the menu I... The flavors were right, but the spice level was a little lower than usual for creole. The restaurant is in a house, so tables are a bit close together. The portions are large for a single serving. Loved the beignets and drinks. The biscuits as huge, but more like a buttermilk cake than a biscuit.

Our Monday visit was "interesting" Beignets were ordered immediately, took a while to come and some were still rather doughy. Orders were placed, one of which was Carlin County (biscuits and gravy). All of the guests were served except one-- server stated that the biscuits were in the oven and would be out shortly. Time went on and on to... More

This place is always packed with people overflowing outside. I have lived here a year and finally made it over there to try at 10AM on a Thursday, still there was a wait. Finally I was seated (I wanted outside but no cigar) and then the three things I had time to zero in on, while waiting, the waitress told... More
