I had the cold carrot soup during happy hour for 12 dollars. It was a small bowl of soup. The flavor was very nice, but I could have made this one myself and I think it was overpriced. But the atmosphere of the place is nice, casual with good food.

Several people said "this is the place to go" in Boulder. We got lucky & were able to book on Open Table. We ran a little late but the Oak held our table. What a bustling place.... Loved it! Ambiance was happenin' & lively and hip. Right on the corner of pearl street mall, to see the action. Staff was... More

Our last day of a week long vacation throughout Colorado and we picked Oak based on Trip Advisor and Open Table reviews. It did not disappoint. Great menu options, fantastic service and great drink/wine/beer options. The room is a bit noisy and some tables are a bit too close but these don't take away from the great dining experience.

Have been to Oak at least four times, and it's always been a great place to enjoy fresh, seasonal food, amazing cocktails, solid service, and a fun wine list. We're both pescetarian, and there are plenty of fish and vegetarian options, though the meat dishes look and smell amazing, too. Of all the places to eat in Boulder, this should... More

If you haven't been to Oak in a while, you must return. We had two amazing main courses that were incredibly good. I had the Pan Seared Alaskan Halibut, dressed with a Chili-Almond jam and surrounded by spinach, baby artichokes, and the most amazing beans in a rich vegetable broth. The flavors were simply amazing, accented with the crunch of... More

Our vendor brought a group of of customers to Oak. We had a room to ourselves. We had a meatball with grits that was very good, a kale salad and then a chicken that was served family style. The desserts were also good. They had some kind of chocolate mousse type cake and a sorbet. The beer selection was very... More

We dined at Oak for the first time We've been to Boulder a few times, but only had cocktails at the bar previously. From the moment we arrived (30 min early for our reservation) we were treated like royalty. From the waiter to the servers, wine and water were kept filled and each course came promptly, hit and they cleaned... More

Really wonderful place. A little pricey, but not for Boulder. With a colleague ordered assorted small plates and wine/beer. Trendy environment with metal, glass, etc. close to bordering on "cold." Would sit at the bar next time. Our server was awesome. full of suggestions and great attitude. There are lots of places to try in Boulder, but I would return... More
