We came here for an early dinner date. We shared the brussels sprouts dish, the lasagna all'amatriciana, and the "arugula" pizza. Service was pretty friendly and fast. They seemed a little too eager to take away our plates when there was still food on them, and it was not crowded so they didn't really need to rush us along. That... More

Pizzeria is on the ground floor in the center of a apartment/condo complex. No commercial parking lot, more like it was designed to be the neighborhood pizzeria for the complex. If you really want to go here ride a bike or find someplace outside the complex and walk in.

Perfect wood-fired, authentic Italian pizza. Also excellent roasted chicken. Add to that - two desserts only on the menu and we have to have them both each time - and we don't love dessert typically. The "doughnuts" (beignet-like and round) to dip in mascarpone whip; and the best tiramisu we have ever had - not too fluffy and the layer... More

I went here for the first time on a Friday night with my mom who is already a big fan of Basta's. We ordered the whole fish, I think it was halibut, with the smashed potatoes and peas. The fish was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were decadent and delicious. The snap peas were also amazing. I don't think there... More

We have eaten at Basta at least once a month for the past 3 years. All dishes are cooked in a wood-burning oven to order. Pizzas are excellent with a very thin crust and all fresh ingredients. Basta takes the farm to table concept very seriously; all dishes are sourced carefully and are freshly prepared daily. Menu is limited and... More

We had not been to Basta in several years for no particular reason but went there this week. It has a small menu but the pizza was excellent and the chicken liver mousse (one of my wife's favorites) very good. We also had two other dishes which were good. Service was very good and fast. We dined early so had... More

I went to Basta with my mom and brother recently and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We ordered "family style" so we had a good sampling of several dishes. I would give the pizzas a 7 out of 10 since they tended to be a little on the burnt side (I recognize though some people appreciate this style). The short ribs... More

Tucked into the Peloton, a great little neighborhood restaurant, casual with an upscale vibe. We shared a superb brussel sprout dish and the peppers wood fired pizza. Layers of flavor and top notch ingredients in every dish. Salted caramel ice cream was a perfect treat to finish. Friendly attentive service with helpful menu explanations.

Showed up early in the evening with no reservation, hostess was very accommodating - after working in restaurants for many years it's always refreshing to encounter front house staff that know how to shift things around. Great food, delicious pizza, excellent staff! Thanks for an enjoyable dining experience, we'll be back!
