Fantastic dinner

We had a fantastic dinner at Salt! It had great food and wine! My burger was fantastic and my friend enjoyed her pasta. We were a little cramped in terms of space since we had the table next to the bar and had some loud talkers on the other side, but that certainly didn't detract from the food!

Farm to table fare in a warm inviting environment with a variety of areas in which to sit: at a table, booths further back, or at the bar beyond the booths, by the kitchen where you can watch meals being prepared and talk to the staff. The lighting is soft and muted and the food excellent—truly fresh and tasty with... More

I had lunch at Salt Bistro with a friend of mine. I was visiting the Boulder area for a few days so I want to make clear I'm not a local, which also means I don't generally enjoy the luxury of such a wide variety of food establishments dedicated to to the use of local organic produce and common sensible... We walked in without a reservation on a weeknight and just barely got a table (so make a reservation). We shared a vegetable medley and a sandwich. Each veggie was individually seasoned and cooked fresh. Each was very distinct in flavor and delicious. The sandwich was hot and fresh. The draft beer selection was limited especially for those of us... More

A group of friends went to celebrate 3 birthdays. The food is very well prepared; with attention to detail. Everything tasted so delicious; it was truly a meal to savor. Our server was warm and engaging and we had fun interacting with her!

The menu is small and that's a good thing. It means everything is prepared to perfection. Enjoy the build-your-own cocktail menu and order something divine to eat to go with it. We had the pork sandwich and tomato soup and it was full of flavor and freshness. The food here is real and they're proud to tell you about the... More

Professional, young, and charismatic bartenders. If you want a treat, sit at the bar and watch these guys. Not just some kid who trained for ten minutes and learned how to make a vodka tonic, but a true master of the craft. Such a joy to watch and learn. Plus, the food is amazing. Beet salad was perfect, steak was... More

SALT has very good food & is consistent. Decent wine selection. The tables are very close & tight - would not recommend for an intimate event. if you're looking for a great meal while browsing Pearl Street, this is a good choice.

Fabulous place: 1. Corky, but sophisticated atmosphere of the modern urban Europe. 2. Excellent service 3. Great food. Tapas - to die for! 4. Unique cocktails from the bar. Absolute delish! 5. Happy hours - huge bonus. One complain: parking is a pain in the neck. It actually applies to any restaurant at the downtown of Boulder.

Salt has all the ingredients to be great: location, vibe, bar, friendly staff. For us it just didn't come together. Pulled pork sandwich was just not good. Fatty, poor tasting sauce, weak bun. Fries however were about the best I've had; hot, crisp, salt crystals. Amazing. Steak salad had very small amount of steak for price, but great dressing. Give... More
