Wow! First time visit tonight with my family. Such a unique blend of flavors, unlike anything we've had before. We had quesadillas, tacos, burrito. The hibiscus margherita was excellent. Everything was delicious, fresh, wonderfully flavorful. Portions are generous, too. We all took home what we...couldn't finish. Can't wait to go back!More

I don't know where they found their chefs/cooks, but I haven't had a burrito this good in many years. They use the best ingredients and you feel good afterwards. They are located upstairs above a Pizza place overlooking Broadway. They are a bit trendy, but...that should not scare away the older generation. Also, they have roof top and indoor dining with very friendly service. Definitely give the place a try.More

"India Meets Mexico in the Rockies" is their slogan, and they speak the truth. The restaurant occupies the 2nd floor of an inauspicious strip mall. Don't be dissuaded. It's worth climbing the stairs to the second floor. We ordered inside on the second floor and...then found a table on the nearly deserted rooftop. They brought the food to us on the rooftop. We were there about 5 pm and were one of two couples. The views are unobstructed in three directions, the vibe is relaxed, the food is interesting, and we are planning on going back before we leave Boulder. My husband loved the rice bowl with coconut curry with sweet potatoes and tofu and cilantro chutney. I had the chorizo taco and thought it paired well with the tamarind chutney.More

Soooo delicious, I had the chicken and paneer tacos and both were extremely delicious. You can tell that every aspect of the dish is homemade. Would 100% come back!

My friend and I were at an event in Boulder and decided to look online to find a yummy food spot. We looked around and saw that the description for Roxie's Tacos was "Indian" and "tacos." We weren't sure what that meant but because we're...super adventurous, we tried them and we were NOT DISAPPOINTED! Roxie's is so delicious!! You can order tacos or burritos with Indian food as your filling. I have had the dada chicken burrito twice now (I've been back since) and love every bit of it. The sauces that accompany the delectable fillings are also so delicious that I need Roxie's to bottle them so I can take them home. Also, the employees are so nice! We came in approximately 9 mins before closing and were greeted warmly with a smile. I know that some places really dislike coming in last second, but Roxie's welcomes you. Writing this review makes me want to make a special trip to Boulder so I get another burrito!!More

Not a bad concept. Indian food in tortillas. Flavors were all pretty good. Still, it seemed a little gimmicky to me, and not cheap. Would prob go again, if we lived there, but prob not go out of our way.

Yes, I know how weird that sounds, but it works. I arrived about fifteen miniutes after Roxie's opened. The young man at the counter asked me if I had been there before and I told him I had not. He enthusiastically explained the menu, and...then recommended that since it was my first visit I should try the tacos since I could sample all the different flavors. I tried the red curry chicken taco and the saag taco, as well as an iced chai. I really enjoyed the red curry. It was a perfect blend of spicy and savory flavors and the tortillas balanced it out perfectly. The saag was just okay. It was exactly what it sounded like. If you put some saag on a tortilla with fix-ins and ate it, you would have Roxie's saag taco. I probably wouldn't have ordered the saag option had it not been for the recommendation of the employee, but I asked him what was good, and I'm always down for a new culinary adventure. The chai was super-spicy, but it was very good nevertheless. I will most definitely make a return trip to Roxie's Tacos if I'm on University Hill in Boulder, to try some of their other offerings. However, I probably wouldn't make a trip to the Hill just for the restaurant.More

I went here for dinner with my husband a couple of days ago. First I will say it’s VERY small inside. Only 2 picnic style tables, so come with a small group or prepare to order it Togo. However don’t let that time you off....The style of cuisine is mostly Indian food just served in tortillas. So expect more Indian taste. I’m not a huge Indian food fan but this place was very good! I got 2 tacos. One was the dada’s red chicken with the tamarind chutney. That one was my favorite! Just a little bit of spice, not too much. The second one was the saag paneer taco. This one is more spicy. I’m a wimp when it comes to spicy stuff and I thought it was too spicy. But for anyone else I’m sure it would be fine. My husband likes spicy stuff and he thought it was good.More

Really liked the taste of Indian dishes inside the burritos and nachos. Try saag paneer with nachos. It is very delicious even though the owner is an American. Great concept and really delicious.

This was our first time in Boulder and looking a lunch spot checked this place out. Manager, sorry I didn’t get his name, was super nice. Awesome guy. Food was fresh and tasty. Nice spice to it. Small place with two large picnic tables inside...and one outside. And instead of plasticware they have wooden forks! Highly recommend!More

The tacos are over $3 for each one, but they are pretty big double tortillas, and with lots of toppings, so two tacos are plenty for lunch. The fried grasshopper taco was pretty good (chapulín), as was the chicken. Very nice vegetable toppings and chutneys....Fast, friendly service. All your utensils and plates are compostable, nice touch. It's nice to share the picnic tables with strangers, you get to know people, but they are pretty stiff and uncomfortable for some people.More

My husband and I traveled to Boulder from Indiana and we heard great things about Roxie's in Indiana and knew we had to come. It sounds interesting. Mexican meets Indian. My husband is a picky eater and was weary, but said he would try it....We both loved it. We both got regular tacos and it was pretty cheap as well.More

Love this place, Indian meets Mexican food. Had Chana Masala on a pappadum (lentil) wafer with cabbage salad on top and chutney drizzle. Chicken also good, "tacos" are $3. Get a good sized serving of tasty lentils and rice with chutney sauce for $1.50. And...everything is compostable so a zero waste lunch at prices you seldom find in Boulder.More
