Kalita was a good find for us in the middle of Boulder. An unassuming, but clean and nice place, the food was a cut above average fast/casual greek. The lamb kebobs/steak were fantastic and not something you'll see most places. Highly recommend!

As with any dining out experience, vegans have to scrutinize the menu and rely on the help of restaurant staff to be assured what we are ordering is indeed vegan. I have eaten here about ten times and for the first three or four, I...was told that the Falafel Platter with Tahini instead of Tzatziki was vegan. Simple modification... Done! It was great. Some of the best falafel around for sure. Then on visit five or so, I was told that the Pita has milk in it. Bewildered, I asked that they double-check because I was told on so many occasions that it was dairy-free. Sure enough, it has milk. So I continued for another four or so visits (forgoing the pita), always ordering the same exact thing, as to be certain there were no modifications I was overlooking. And BOOM, I was just placing an order over the phone and was told that the Tahini sauce has egg/mayo in it. Again, bewildered I asked that the information be double-checked. The response came back positive for mayo. What the heck?!? I'm sad to not be able to eat here anymore but I feel betrayed. Not as vegan-friendly as I once thought. :(More

Tasty, solid Greek food. Great for lunch. I got the platter that had gyro meat, chicken, pita, tsatziki, Greek salad and feta. All good.

This place is fine. You are not going to tell your friends about how awesome it is but you're not going to get food poisoning, either. It is basic falafel, hummus, pita bread and so on and you can walk back to that crappy Millennium...Hotel without your food getting cold. Not too pricy at all, either. Look at it this way - if you like Greek food flavors this will do just fine and it is a whole lot better than McDonalds or the food at the Millennium,, or, say, a microwave pizza.More

I came here twice over the weekend and everything was fantastic. I am positive this place will have to expand soon.

It isn't often that a Gyro really stands out and demands high praise, but the pulled lamb from Kalita almost qualifies as a religious encounter. I wonder how many pounds a week they sell, as it's truly outstanding.

I've been to Kalita twice. The restaurant is clean but not particularly fancy. You order at the bar and your food is delivered to you at your table. The food itself is wonderful if mediteranean food is what you are looking for. They serve shwarmas,...greek salads, gyros, lamb, chicken falafals, and prawns. You can get a sandwich or plate. I particularly liked the chicken schwarma plate and am looking forward to trying the lamb shwarma the next time I go. The salad was very fresh with a good Greek dressing, the chicken was nicely prepared, and the hummus was delicious. They also have several types of mediteranean desserts.More

After our hike at Walker loop we called Club Med our favorite Greek restaurant on Pearl St. mall. They were booked until 830pm. Then we googled Greek restaurants near me. This place popped up and we went. This place is bomb.com. You must try it....We needed the protein after a 9.5 mile hike at Walker Loop. Excellent. Love this place and we put it on our favorite places to visit while we’re down in Boulder from Fort Collins.More

I've never had a bad experience here, the food is really wonderful and the only complaint that I would have would be that they offer a more traditional Greek tzatsiki, the one they make is more turkish with a dill flavor and I miss the...real cucumber and garlic Greek tzatsiki. Outside of that a REALLY great spot!More

Have stopped in here twice in the last couple of weeks because it’s great. They have lots of menu items to satisfy your Greek tastebuds. The gyro combo plate is delicious. And it’s a good portion of food.
