What a fantastic dinner! They really know how to get (never frozen) and prepare their fish! There were so many options, it was difficult to choose. One of the options was to pick your fish/seafood and then the way to prepare it. The only problem...we had was that it was so delicious we didn't have room for dessert! We will be back!!More

We had a delicious dinner, and enjoyed every last bite! The fish was so fresh and the Japanese beer suggested, was the perfect pairing, and we normally drink wine. Elizabeth, our server was truly a light being, an angel on earth. Pure joy!

Just had an awesome evening with excellent food, service and atmosphere. Could not get a table so sat at the bar and had an outstanding experience. The bartender (Tony) did a great job explaining the menu, helping us find a preparation and taking care of...our every need. We would highly recommend this restaurant and definitely sit at the bar for the full experience.More

We recently dined here for lunch- we were very excited to try the seafood. We ordered the blackened fish sandwich- while it was flavorful, it was a tiny quantity of fish (about 1/3 the size of the bun). We asked the waiter about this and...was told "this is normal for that sandwich". Also multiple items we ordered had an increased price on the bill compared to the menu. While these were small differences (~$1), price transparency matters. On the upside, the kids menu food was delicious- we got the cheese noodles for our son.More

Had a tremendous experience at Hooked while staying in BC this past trip. I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and was happy to get a 9:30pm rezzie. The place was still packed when we sat down and was lively until the...end of the evening. Awesome sake suggestions by the sommelier to start really kicked off the night. Had a sample of small plated (The Crimpster) meals along with about 4 different sushi rolls and finished with some Wagyu to have a well rounded meal. I wanted to try one of the fishmongers special preparations both hot and cold but could get our party of four to agree on one thing, but I'd like to try something like that next time. Bill was less than expected as well for our party of four I was pleasantly surprised.More

Truly don’t like leaving bad reviews but my night at hooked made me feel like I was the catch. Good service. Nice manager but to be asked to ALSO Tip the kitchen staff beyond the 20-25% that’s expected for the Server these days is just...too much. I had a beer and a single sushi roll. $19.99 for the roll. $30 before tip. Sorry but there is well enough in that for this owner to pay his staff properly. Don’t need additional the guilt on a night out. This is the second time I’ve seen an additional Gratuity Line on my Dinner bill. Don’t like the trend and don’t believe I’ll return to either place.More

Excellent in every way. This place defines nouveau fine dining. The service was top notch. Josh the bartender- superstar. Fish was magical. I’m told it’s flown in daily. It’s so fresh, it was like the fish chartered the plane, itself. Great atmosphere. If you can...get in, get there. We had mostly sushi which was carefully prepared. The big tables had unique, specialty fish from all over the world. You won’t find another restaurant like this!More

Booked table for 3 people more than week in advance. 10 minutes before the actual reserved time, they call me from the restaurant that they just looked at my reservation and read special request note and they were it able to accommodate us. When arrived,...I asked to talk to general manager, and the person in his twenties said he was the general manager and he told me they did not have table for us that was booked in advance with the credit card. He said he could offer us 2 seats at the bar (reservation was for 3). He also said he will not charge me if we cancelled the reservation. He absolutely didn’t care and show no effort to accommodate us. He reasoned his inability to honoree our reservation with: we move the things around a lot. So, for anyone that books the place and actually gets the table, you may possibly enjoy the food, but be aware that at this restaurant reservation means nothing as they “move things around”. Absolutely unacceptable for the Beaver Creek restaurant and I hope that people will care to make them Improve their service, which in our case was nonexistent. I gave one star only because there was no option for no stars. I have eaten everywhere in the world, on 5 continents, and this is the first time that manager and restaurant did not honor previous reservation. Truly shameful. When posting this review I noticed that quite a few people commented on lack of or poor customer service.More

I found this spot for lunch during one of our ski days, and love loved the calamari, tuna tacos & clam chowder. Also, did i mean the boozy Almond Joy Hot Cocoa?!! Yum. We went back for dinner and enjoyed several cocktails, tons of food,...and a whiskey tasting. Loved sitting at the bar & they definitely have a great selection of seafood .... it just didn’t taste that fresh? While everything was delicious, it wasn’t AMAZING, hence the three stars.More
