Mostly an average restaurant with high prices. Service and atmosphere was good. We ordered the burger and the Salmon Wellington. Burger was good but nothing special. Salmon Wellington was terrible. It comes baked in a crust. The crust was so hard that we could barely...cut it with a knife. Everything inside was cold. We were told it was 2 min out of the oven. But that is impossible since it was barely room temperature on the inside and the crust itself was rock hard - seemed stale. We didn't eat any of it and the server gave us half off on the dish.More

Food was excellent and so is the location. I had the pork belly Bahn Mi sandwich which was incredible. It does have chilies that are quite spicy so beware. My wife had the salmon burger and said it was excellent. I will definitely eat here...again the next time I'm in Beaver CreekMore

The rating is based on the cost vs quality of food. The experience was good and very unique with many different ways to enjoy fish; however, for the price point, I thought most of it was good, some things very good, but not amazing. And...you are paying very high prices for it, which you are expecting being in the middle of a ski town. The wait staff was very friendly and gave good recommendations.More

My family includes some big sushi lovers. This place doesn't have that - which we expected, but they still wanted to eat here. That said, the server was absolutely excellent. We ate over the Christmas/NY holiday so it was a busy week and had a...late reservation for our group of 5. We had a lot of questions and the server was impressively knowledgeable - as a former server, we can recognize quality staff. Great job to our server - I wish I remembered his name.More

Our family of 4 had a wonderful evening. Service was excellent. Not sure what others ordered but we had a whole fish and the presentation and the chef’s specialties were excellent. We ordered some sushi rolls for appetizers and one of us ordered the burger...which were also delicious. Will be coming for lunch tomorrow!More

I’ve been to Hooked around 15 times. Tonight will be my last. Calamari appetizer is tiny and poor quality. Blonde bar back was annoyed I asked for wasabi to go with my sushi roll. Then she became more upset that my friend also wanted wasabi....Place has really gone down hill. I used to recommend Hooked. They need to get back to the old Hooked . What a let down.More

We have had this restaurant recommended by locals several times so we decided to finally try it. It really blew us away with the variety of their menu and the quality of their food. Service was great as well. Our evening here turned out to...be an absolute delight. We will certainly be costumers again the next time we visit Beaver Creek.More

This is a seafood restaurant, with a Japanese tilt, located on the Plaza at Beaver Creek. It has dramatically increased its outdoor seating, at least in the summer, perhaps because of the pandemic. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it. Menu items were extremely pricey despite being...ordinary at best. No bread was offered. The two of us decided to share a $20 order of crispy calamari as an appetizer. The plate was the smallest serving of calamari that we have ever seen, and it was of relatively poor quality. It came with an extremely spicy sauce so we had to ask for a replacement of mayo and lemon slices instead. We commented on the skimpy serving and asked if the chef could supplement our serving. We were later told that the calamari would be comped, and we were asked if we wanted a second serving. We decided no because of the poor quality. Later, a second skimpy dish arrived anyway, for which we were charged. I ordered some smoked salmon sliders with Colorado Palisade peach. They were bland and had no noticeable peach component. The three small pieces of sashimi for $20 arrived with no soy sauce or other condiment. The $40 scallops were rather ordinary. Service was O.K. The chairs were not very comfortable. Maybe you could grab some supper here if it were one-third the cost. But it isn’t. Right next door is a much better restaurant, the Golden Eagle.More

The menu at Hooked is eclectic. It is mostly seafood related but ranges from Fish and Chips or sandwiches to whole fish prepared as both sushi and cooked. Our experience was that the food was very good but the heavy sale of the whole fish...before we had even had a chance to order a cocktail was unwelcome. We wanted a chance to study the menu and catch our breath but our server was persistent in presenting the whole fish options and when we did not go that route he paced the meal such that courses overlapped. As I stated, the food was good but we wanted to dine rather than just sit down and eat. Perhaps just a bad day and my son had lunch there and said it was a very different experience.More

I have been here 4 times before and people have told me that it has changed, but I didn’t want to believe them. We did the whole fish prepared all the ways for two people. Let me just tell you that alone was $331. If...it would’ve been phenomenal, I would have maybe been ok with that. However, it was subpar sushi and ceviche and barbecued fish. They bought us dessert which was super nice, but they can’t take back the disappointment I feel. Just don’t go.More

We were there expecting a nice lunch since we had been there before. Our white wine arrived warm. We ordered the poke bowls which were Extremely small, actually left hungry. They are even cutting corners with the amount of dressing they give you. To top...it all they gave us the wrong check. Disappointing and Overpriced experience!More
