Located in the village the Metropolitan is a wonderful spot for a light dinner and great drink. The staff is friendly and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Sit at the bar for the best time.

We checked into the Park Hyatt at Beaver Creek and found The Metropolitan right below the hotel in the village. Wonderful tapas menu. I think I could order about half the entrees, which is rare for me. The Brussel Sprouts are to die for with the pork belly and balsamic glaze. My wife had the Lobster Tacos and those were... More

This is a delicious place!! We went for happy hour, we were surprised more people were not there, the food is so good. Tapas style menu is good for sharing, we ate several items from the menu. We ordered, guacamole with blue corn chips, carnitas tacos and veggie tacos. We each had a beer, but they have full bar and... More

The Met is a favorite during the Colorado Suzuki Institute--the faculty likes to have their end-of-session party here. The food is full of delicious surprises. Who would think you could make brussel sprouts taste so great! And the lobster rolls! Many interesting items. Many are "small plates" to share like tapas. The wine list is good, and they have a... We've been here a few times. This time we split the arugula, spinach, peach and goat cheese salad and pork tacos for a light dinner. The flavors were great together. We also had the peach cobbler for dessert. It was a little disappointing. Nothing special. We'll definitely go back because there are more dishes we'd like to try!

We have visited this place for several years in the summer. They used to have a great happy hour that is now only 3-5 daily. The food is very fresh and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. Like hanging out here in the afternoons -- great alone, for date night or with kids.

The four of us enjoyed the tapa options offered by the Metropolitan. The green chilli soup, flatbread, and the chips were very good. The wine card and carousel gives you the option to try many different wines without being too costly. The service was excellent and the atmosphere inviting.

Usually we make reservations ahead of time to other places that use Open Table (The Metropolitan does not), but this once we decided to wing it and see how we felt. We’re so glad we walked through these doors! The trendy, intimate interior is very interesting: high tops in the middle as well as normal bench tables, a lounge-ish area... More
