This was the best place we ate the whole time we spent in Colorado. I had the Hot Pineapple, quite possibly the best dish I've had this year, half a pineapple filled with shrimp, scallops, mussels, octopus, fish, cream sauce, and of course pineapple. My husband had the open face chimichanga which he loved, but not as adventurous as some... More

We have been going to El Korita for years. Our last two visits were very disappointing especially the most recent one. Service was slow, two of the entrees served were wrong, the food was luke warm and the waiter never came back to check after he's served the food. This was on a slow night. At least the margaritas were... More

I used to want to eat here every day - fish tacos or die! Not so much anymore. Something is lacking.

The food was excellent but the service was slow and our waitress was hard to find. We were there during their busy dinner hour.

This is a good place to go for Mexican food. We are from Texas so our expectations were pretty high. The chips were a bit stale/hard. Hot sauce and guacamole were good though. We split chicken fajitas and had plenty. Could have had more chicken instead so many onions and peppers. Nice patio and friendly server.

Yes, as other reviewers noted there can be a problem with service. But that's because this is a popular place with good food. Try getting there around 5 or 5:30 on a Saturday evening and you should be okay--it gets dicey the closer it is to 6:00 and beyond. But it is worth the wait--the portions are a good size... More

You must experience this restaurant with the most amazing Mexican food I've ever tasted. Fabulous sizzling seafood soup, BBQ seafood and guacamole to die for!

This place had a bad review for service...I also found on entering it was like I had to find someone to get a table. I think that is cultural but also what is definately cultural is the great food and at a great price. You can tell it is authentic because most of the clientele were latino. Also, I have... More

I really feel like I was on Candid Camera. There are not a lot of options around the Basalt area where we were staying and my 9 year old really wanted a burrito. When we walked in- there was no host to greet us. Finally a number of other waiting families and us realized we had to "check ourselves in"... More
