Every time we visit Basalt we always go back to Brick Pony. The staff is friendly and the food is good. The only drawback it's a bit pricey. When you go you have to order the banana cream pie...It's delicious!

We hadn't been in a few years, and I did review this restaurant then, so it was a very pleasant surprise that my opinion hadn't changed. The menu is fairly extensive, even for vegetarians, the food is very good, the service was good, and last but not least, so were the drinks. Admittedly we were there when it wasn't too... More

Great location and fantastic food- and yeah for cold beers on tap in frosty mugs! Not to mention yummy sweet potato fries!

Lots of noise coming not from the many screens showing sports but from the clientele on a Friday evening out having fun. Great service and welcome from staff. Food focused on bar standards such as burgers, salads and pizzas with some local twists but was tasty, good and well presented. Would visit again

We were a party of four looking for a late lunch and we chanced upon the Brick Pony Club. Good range of Colorado beers on tap and a decent menu. We sat on a table outside the front of the pub in the sunshine but with canopy protection. Good burgers, salads etc. Friendly service. Recommended.

We've visited the Brick Pony many times and consider it the consistently best lunch and dinner spot in Basalt. On this occasion we were going to try a neighboring restaurant with outdoor seating down the street but they were so incredibly rude and slow that we left and came back to our mainstay. Very friendly and efficient staff, a nice... More

We stopped in on whim just driving by. It's a typical bar/tavern setting but better than most of the similar options. Staff is friendly, attentive, and service is fast. The food portions are huge and much better than anticipated for "bar food". We would recommend this place for sure.

Showed up 15 minutes before our reservation. One and a half hours after our reservation we were still sitting at the bar waiting, even though we could clearly see multiple empty tables. Upon pointing that out was told "don't tell me how to seat people!"

This is definitely a locals bar. I usually sit at the bar and everyone is so nice. The bartenders are friendly and the locals are nice. It's a great atmosphere but it does close earlier than I'm used to. Overall it's a good place to grab a drink.

We went on Monday night with 9 people. We were impressed right off the bat with the menu. Everything looks amazing. There were different aspects to our stay so I am breaking this up... FOOD: Wow!! Out of everything we ordered it was almost all amazing. The burgers are spectacular and just about melt in your mouth. There is a... More
