We are a neighborhood-oriented, made from scratch, casual restaurant. The feel is young, hip transcending the perception of BBQ restaurants past. Serving a variety of draft and bottled microbrews representing local breweries and popular brews from great BBQ regions (Texas, the Carolinas, Memphis/Arkansas and Kansas City) we feature an approachable wine list and a full line of spirits. The menu is driven by the chefs and their Southern roots, the Great American BBQ traditions as well as seasonal and regional products.

First time here so thinking might have been heavy on the BBQ. They have HH and it attracts locals. I ate at bar. Food was good. Bartender explained the new menu. Good service.

Ohhhh, the Burnt-Ends Mac and Cheese.... I dream about this. So delicious! Located in the vibrant Willits neighborhood, Smoke is a great choice for families, as the kids' menu is good, it's not too quiet of a restaurant for kiddos, and the service is consistent....More

This place has some good bbq but because of the area it's a little pricey. The service this time around was not very good. Maybe the server was too busy or to new but twice someone else refilled our drinks and once I went to...More

The BBQ would have been great IF it had not been COLD. We both ordered the pulled pork plate, and on both plates the pork was cold. Not even luke warm, but cold. I never send food back to the kitchen, so we just ate...More

So good. The mac and cheese with burnt ends is the best. Leave room dessert and order the banana pudding. The banana slices are caramelized. Suggest to eat alfresco since the interior smoke smell is strong.

We were here mid afternoon on a Saturday. Nice environment and good server, but the bbq was average. We had a brisket plate and a ribs/combo plate, with queso for a starter. Brisket was a tad fatty. Overall, an average meal.

While I did not specifically note the availability of gluten free options, Aspen and down-valley restaurants, like those in El Jebel, are usually aware of dietary preferences for their customers. Have you looked for online... More
