Ok the food is average but I love sitting at the counter drinking coffee before setting off to Vancouver BC. (I trek from SF to Van 3 times a year). There are so many Black Bears now but this was the first one I ever tried. It's a coffee shop, the kind of place that will give you a heart... More

We've eaten at several Black Bear Restaurants up and down the I-5 corridor from Washington to California and are never disappointed. I love the Cheeseburger Salad. Basically it's a cheeseburger without the bun and it comes on a huge plate. I can never finish it. My husband had the shrimp and chips and said it was wonderful. Good service, clean,... More

Highly recommend the Black Bear Diner in Yreka. Had the Tri Tip Dip, very tasty, and loaded with tender tri tip. Onion rings are good. Hubby had the turkey club, very good as well. Service was excellent and friendly. Charming rustic decor. The parking lot was constantly busy the 2 days we were in Yreka.....a packed parking lot is always... More

Very ordinary place. Good service, but nothing special about the food either beef or turkey. I wish we had gone to Noodles again.

Great little place to go for any reason. I just stopped in on my way back north. Simple but great menu, clean environment and friendly employees. I wish there was one closer to where I live. Get the grizz.

Our food order was good and the service was fast and friendly. Our server was there asking if we needed anything else.

Love this restaurant...our very first visit to a Black Bear Diner was this one, and we stop every year on our vacations north, we were so impressed that now we make it a point to visit one wherever we can find them...Great food, extensive menu selections, fast and friendly service...fun atmosphere...very clean.....

Yummy food and friendly service.... Although the staff were very loud and u could all the conversations about closing early and so on...Which made it hard to enjoy your meal while listening to their drama It was good food and the service was good.
