I'm giving Alice's 4 stars because I've only eaten here once. I still think fondly of my Farmer's Burger, though the onion rings may have been the tiniest bit song; I am plotting a return trip. I ate here one Saturday evening with two friends and their dog. I'd driven by earlier in the day and frankly it looked like... More

Stumble upon it going from Stanford to Año Nuevo State Park. Great pull out pork, and tuna sandwiches and burgers. The spinach salad was very good as well. The waiters were mostly kids adding to the homely feel of the place. Highly recommend!

Nice little restaurant in the middle of no where, with good burgers and homely service. Nothing flashy, just good grub.

Fantastic experience of food, bikers, menu selection, redwoods, patio dining, dogs, and fun. Expect a wait at this popular lunch spot up the mountain from south peninsula.

I visit Alice's on a semi regular basis because the food is great and I don't live too far away (30 miles or so) and it is a great destination for motorcycle riders. They have home made Bloody Mary's and potato chips.

After a fantastic Redwood experience our family was close to starving and found this perfect joint by pure luck! The burgers are excellent, the beers the same and the staff really friendly and cool. The plastic trays seems compulsory for some reason...

It gets chilly - bring layers. Man o man, not the breakfast for everyone, I get it - but I LOVE having a bloody Mary and chicken wings for brunch! Throw in some fries. Beats pancakes any day.... Yum! If you can't get a seat outside, there's a lot of room inside. This is a no frills super frilly place,... More

We were on our way from Monterey to San Francisco and stopped at Alice's for lunch. Its simple and wholesome food and with a couple of beers was the perfect place to relax mid drive.

Alice’s was our first stop out of the city and the setting couldn’t have been more of a contrast. You’re surrounded by forest, and peace, and gorgeous woody smells; it’s wonderful. The food was standard but nice, the service warm and friendly and the prices reasonable. But it’s all about the setting.
