Good All Around

Enjoyable service, excellent food, nice ambiance (albeit somewhat noisy) combine for a terrific meal. Can't say they overdo it on portion size, but what we had was very good...enjoyed butternut squash ravioli to start (beet starter not quite as good), duck entree (maybe a bit skimpy) and soufflé... read more

We've been to TVP on numerous occasions and have loved every visit, but this is the first time I have written a review. We were there last weekend to celebrate the end of the holiday season with one last decadent meal before we returned to "clean eating" and school/work. We shared the charcuterie appetizer and had side salads which were... More

My family took me to The Village Pub for my 75th birthday. The food and the service could not have been better. They offer a nice selection of appetizers and entree's plus an extensive wine list, including a fine selection of wines by the glass. I highly recommend this restaurant. It warrants the Michelin Star it received.

We are (were until now) regulars at Village Pub, my gf came here pretty much since they opened! We loved this place! Village Pub presented the most consistent food quality, service and ambience! We noticed a change a few visits ago, new maître d', new host. Not getting the table you had specifically requested happens, but not acknowledging it and... More

This restaurant has a good reputation as having fine food and wines. Its wine menu is extensive but very over priced. Glasses of wine averaged $16, even mediocre wines. The menu options are not extensive. The salmon I had was perfectly cooked and delicious but nothing special. The "Pub Menu" offers more basic entrees. One in our party had the... More

Over-priced menu that, based on our entrees, were not worthy of the price. You are definitely treated as an "outside" if you are not one of their regular diners. The burger and fries were tasty...

Village pub from the days which was located upstairs to today has always been a great place and with the upgrade of the restaurant and the talented amazing chef which truly cares about the ingredients, the experience is unique not only in the freshness and quality of the food but the selection, the creativity and the wines that is selected... We stopped by the Pub without reservations, hoping to sit at the bar and have a small meal. A table in the bar area opened up for the 3 of us, and we ordered 3 wonderful cocktails, 3 starters (a to-die-for tomato soup, the sweetbreads, and the scallops), then shared the agnolotti entree amount the 3 of us. Everything was... More

Firstly this is not a pub it is a very fine restaurant. The menu is varied and if you ask the waiter to explain how the meal is prepared you will get a delightful explanation which makes your mouth water. Don't worry the explanation just puts you on a delightful path to be ready for the delightful food that you... More
