Enjoyed a birthday lunch with friends. Waiter did a perfect job of pacing the food and knowing when to stop at table. We started with a tuna tartare and tomato soup. Both were cooked perfectly and presentation was lovely. Each person at the table had the black olive encrusted halibut. The vegetables that came in with the fish reminded nicoise... More

We were in the mood for a sudden celebration and decided to try the Village Pub, arriving right at noon and with no lunch reservation. We were dressed very informally, but they didn't raise an eyebrow and gave us a great table anyway. Our meal was perfect in every way. The initial basket of bread had a lovely wood-fired crispy... If you have a special event, and you want to dine in a formal upscale restaurant in a a non formal beautiful town, this is the place to go. It is a nice place, a lot of waiters, personally believe that are too many, who try to create a classical upscale experience. I suggest to be nicely dressed, no shorts,... More

A choice for special occasions, birthdays and Christmas eve in our case. Mostly local clientele given its location, but we drive 25 minutes to treat our friends.

I ordered bavette steak from the 'pub' menu while my wife ordered duck from the dinner menu. Both entrees were excellent. We chose the pub because it was open late - till 10 pm - on a Tuesday night. We arrived about 9 pm and the place was packed but it cleared out quickly.

The Village Pub is the very best restaurant on the San Francisco peninsula. The food is so delicious, the atmosphere is delightful and of course the service couldn't be better. Love this place. It has it all!

Really enjoyed my lunch at The Village pub. Very sweet woman hostess. I was dinning by myself and she came over a few times to chat with me. Professional service. Enjoyed my pre lunch craft cocktails. tuna tartar wrapped in avocado was great, along with duck and amazing dessert. Loved the ambiance. Would definitely return and it was well worth... More

I ate here recently as part as a work dinner and have to say this is hands down the best meal I've eaten this year! I had a delicious sweet corn soup to start and finished with sweet corn ice cream that was just fabulous but my pork loin main was incredible. It also came with some belly pork which... More

I've been going there for years. Good for a special date or for a business meeting. The food is consistently awesome. Great wine selection. staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The breads there are amazing. Salads, soups, pork loin, burger, and fries are all my favorites. Make your reservations well in advance. 1 Michelin star
