On King's Mountain, in the beautiful redwoods. Casual setting with bar and seperate dining room. Good food. Long established business...where the locals go.

This restaurant is a favorite with locals. They have fireplaces and a romantic, rustic atmosphere. The food is good and not too expensive. The restaurant is large with multiple rooms and is not too noisy.
Very low key dining establishment with delicious food and competent friendly service. Warm atmosphere in a forest setting. Come in daylight and enjoy the changing light of the trees as the day ends. My favorite dish is venison, but there are plenty of options for all palettes.

By surprise I met friends here and was very happy to be back. It has been years and it was like going home. They have great game meets like Elk, Venison, Duck and much more. They also have traditional items. You fine under the redwoods and this place has charm.

First the good. The owner is very responsive. That's it. The bar was oppressively hot. Right? In the Mountains? No air flow no fan except over the bartender. Miserable. Even by the window. Seated in atrium pretty fast. Everything went downhill from there. Strange gin drink. Bone Marrow undercooked. Like eating straight fat. Horrid. The Wild caught local Salmon came... More
