Our server looked disinterested and when she finally decided to come to our table was really bored taking our order. While we were sitting there we noticed all the dirt in the booths and around the table. Do they ever sweep up and use a little Clorox. Once our food arrived it was lukewarm and not very appetizing on chipped... More

The place is a throw back dinner with a big dinner style menu. The service was personable and friendly. If you go, order a root beer float. They are the stuff of legends. Vanilla ice cream mounds float at the top above the rim of the glass and it is served with a "side-car" of root beer. They also make... More

My fiancé and I had a wonderful breakfast at Don's Diner today. The staff and owner are always extremely friendly and we enjoy every visit there. One of the greatest reasons for eating at Don's is that it reminds me of all of the memorable meals I had with my father back in Northwest Iowa when I was a young... More

Loves these locally owned places with great simple food. Great service, and a nice place to relax and have breakfast.

I've only had breakfast at Don's Diner and it was great'. Had the Yolo (County)Scramble. Eggs with a nice combo of veggies, hash browns and English muffin. Something to look forward to and it's served all day. I got a half order, but next time I'll get the whole thing ! Usually I don't like a lot of food or... More

Don's Diner. What a gem, never knew it existed. We live about 20 miles away, and wanted to try someplace new. Glad we did, almost everyone eating there knew each other, staff extremely friendly with great service. Food is really good, we had breakfast. Ham and eggs for me. Bacon with eggs, biscuits and gravy for husband. Both. Really good.... More

There are so many old school artifacts on the walls which bring back memories. Waitresses are down home girls who know their craft. This is the first time I have seen scrambled eggs Benedict in my life - they were ok. Obviously a local favorite in an unlikely strip mall!

I was looking for a good place to have an old school breakfast. Don's definitely hit the mark. Favorites like biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak and eggs among the many offerings. Great service and very eclectic decor.

There used to be a Don's Diner next to a motel on Main Street but it disappeared years ago. We were very sad to see it go because we enjoyed the home cooking. Now we've found this Don's Diner. Not sure if it's the same place but the food is as good. The plus side - a good range of... More

This a great place to eat if you're looking for home cooking at reasonable rates. The food is, always, good an it's usually crowded. I've gone there for years and their breakfast is the best in town.
