This place has lots of good reviews for good reason. The standard fare is done well. Enough unique dishes are also done well to guarantee variety. Mango shrimp ceviche. chipotle calamari.
All the takeout logistics were done well.
We have been going the Lupe's since they opened, they were right across the street from our church. Well, changed churches and hadn't been there for a while, so we drop in. I ordered one of my many favorites and WOW, was it amazing!
I stopped here alone for dinner while I was traveling for work. This place was nice, quiet and yummy. I felt comfortable eating alone as they had booths as a seating option. I ordered the fajitas and the portion was gigantic. With only three tortillas,...I had lots of leftover meat and veggies but that’s okay because I was full. I wasn’t super crazy about the salsa that comes with the chips as I was craving something a bit more chunky but the chips were served warm. I had my entire meal and a margarita for under $26 so it was well priced and suitable.More
This is a great place for lunch. Six of us enjoyed great food and drinks on the patio. It is reasonably priced and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. We parked on the street a short distance from the diner.
We were staying in Windsor for a week and ate here one night. The service was quick and the chips and salsa were tasty. The guacamole was OK but lacked any real flavor. The shrimp tacos were OK but I did not particularly enjoy the...crab enchilada. We could not mix-and-match from the menu so two of us ordered different entrées and split. The CA burrito looked very large and delicious. They did accommodate the varying demands of the table so they do get bonus points for that.More
We stopped here for a light dinner, our group of four had talked about Mexican food for a couple days and decided on Lupe's. Service wise was a very good choice, but food wise we were very disappointed. Salsa had no taste, almost like watered...down, no spices for other foods.More
This restaurant is much better than a few years ago. Not only is the food excellent, but they have opened the adjacent Agave tequila bar, a nice place before/after the meal or on its own. Convenient location across from the Green makes it a great...place before or after the events on the Green.More
