In town on business and decided to try a local place for lunch. Found HKCH on Tripadvisor. After a short wait the waiter seated me, gave me a menu, and took my drink order. The menu has numerous items with many vegetarian and meat options....Soups, salads, curry, masala, etc. I decided on one of the express lunch combos. Started with a delicious, mildly spicy lentil soup, followed by an entree of tofu, potato, and kale curry, served with brown rice, naan, and a nice mixed greens salad. The soup was wonderful, would be a great main course on it's own. The curry dish was outstanding! I'm not a vegetarian but decided to try it and very glad that I did. Every bite was delicious! The naan was fresh and great to dip into the curry. The side salad was a great compliment as well, and the house made mango dressing was perfect. I give HKCH a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend that you try it if you are ever in Windsor and looking for a delicious and healthy meal.More

On a recent visit to the area, we had 4 couples seated outside so were able to enjoy the beautiful evening. The entire staff was very courteous and attentive. We ordered a variety of items, all of which we enjoyed. They offer a variety of..."heat" levels for their food so you don't have to worry about it being "too hot." I recommend eating here if in the area.More

Whenever I enter this restaurant I feel welcome. My husband and I usually come at lunchtime, and the specials are great. From the complimentary lentil soup (always delicious) to the full meals including rice, salad, and naan--as well as entree--this place delivers a great experience....Creatures of habit, we usually order fish tikka masala (salmon) and the chicken pumpkin curry. We love the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The soothing music they play is a plus, too. If you love tandoories, kabobs, and curries, especially if you're vegan, give this play a try. You won't be sorry.More

They always serve you a wonderful warm lentil soup I would go to this restaurant just for this soup. All of the other dishes are excellently prepared and brings you an authentic taste of Indian Himalayas. We eat there often.
