There is many people around this town; and out of nowhere we found this eatery. Most customers are local. Waitresses are very friendly, and food are reasonably good. A good place to feel the local American lifestyle.

If you are looking for a novel experience to sidle up next to a local rice farmer, or diesel mechanic, then this is it. The Last Stand is a living testament to the old Highway 99, central valley corridor. If you are looking for a watering hole, on a hot summer day, or a great "drips to your elbows" bacon... More

Think about a drive in burger joint from the 70's. Now, instead of an all glass front with a small sliding order window, it's a long counter will a row of bar stools and a shade cover. There is inside seating too, with a few tables and a few booths ... also from the 70's. No big variety here, basic... More

Jalapeno poppers are terriffic. Potato wedges are great. deep fried zucchini is awful. Inside dining @ table or counter. Outside dining available. Last outdoor stand-up bar in Glenn County. This is an average local place to eat/drink. What makes it above average (to me & my family) is that they are community supporters. I first ate here due to a... More

As one reviewer noted- be ready for a local experience. This is the kind of place frequented by lots of local guys wearing baseball caps and driving trucks and drinking a beer at lunch. Very relaxed vibe. The server knows her regulars and joshes with each of them. They seem to get a kick out of being razzed by her.... More

It may have been 100+ degrees outside, but the cool atmosphere and people behind the bar were so worth. The best bar food and the beer is the perfect just above freezing temperature for the overbearing heat!

Great service, easy-going patio and conversation with local patrons. The real-deal hamburger. Nice if just a couple more micros on tap.

Found this listing with good reviews. A bit off the freeway but worth the drive. The burgers are very good just about any size or combination you would want. A variety of fries and other entrees. We got good service. Be prepared for a "local" experience.

If you want to stop at a unique place to eat while traveling on I-5 near Willows, I'd recommend The Last Stand Bar and Grill. While you can get the usual fare close to the Interstate, a short trip through town and you'll get to enjoy an outdoor bar & grill out front or their indoor dining area. The food... More
