First time to go there and was extremely pleased. The food was excellent, especially their minestrone soup. I ordered a seafood plate with squid, cod and shrimp. It was good but I guess I don't have the appreciation I used to have for fried foods. The shrimp were the best because they had a batter coating. Everything else had crumbs.... More
Stopped late on Friday nite at hotel next door after seeing I-5 billboard. At 9:30 pm had chicken parmesean with spaghetti and thoroughly enjoyed. Stopped at deli for bottle of wine, sour dough bread & biscotti to go.
Highly popular tourist stop with a vast selection of interesting foods. Nice olive tasting area, local wines and a nice deli with a good selection of sandwich fixings. The gelato was delicious (tiramisu), the sandwich was huge and filling. Expensive, over $3 for a bottled tea. Nice to visit once but don't have to do that again.
The main stop in town... Huge with a restaurant, deli and gift shop across the street! Packed! Traditional deli will not disappoint! Order at the counter then wait to be called. You can order half sandwiches too which I took advantage of. Tuna with all the toppings which included, mustard, Mayo, lettuce, pickles, banana peppers and onions ( which I... More
Had a delicious garlic chicken pizza last night. Sat in the bar area in the back hoping for quicker service since the restaurant seemed full. The service was friendly and pretty quick. Also had an ice cream from their deli section after dinner.
We stopped on a whim, hungry, and a deli sandwich sounded good. What a surprise. A great selection of food of all kinds with great service. Stop here for sure if you are passing by Williams on I5, you won;t be disappointed.
I saw an ad for this restaurant/deli in a "things to do" for the Sacramento-north travels and mostly ignored it, but as we got hungrier on our drive north on I-5 we took the turn off for Williams and had breakfast here. Fast friendly good food and an awesome deli. Going to enjoy our deli meat and cheese and oils... More
The best part of dinner was the salad bar, with choice of mixed greens or spinach, prepared pasta, potato and marinated tomato salads, salad or black olives and all the usual toppings - all very fresh! Baked potato and sourdough bread were excellent sides as well. Don't choose seafood combo - flavorless and overcooked, probable from frozen. Hamburger and onion... More
