In the years past we used to “car cruise” on Fridays at Ruby’s Dinner. Many classic cars parked in a reserved section of the parking lot. We enjoyed a car enthusiast discounted dinner each Friday night Spring to Fall. Hopefully it will reopen for the...cars before the year’s end. This past Friday night four of us “tail gated” in Ruby’s parking lot and had a swell time at six feet apart. The Cobb Salad was wonderful. It was tasty and somewhat messy when sitting on a lawn chair with no table. Service was quick and very attentive. Everyone really enjoyed the night at Ruby’s.More

Great shakes! Good burgers and salads in a cute retro atmosphere. A fun place to take the family out.

Went two times the same day, it was the last day in the area and had a very good breakfast, while browsing the menu we saw other dishes that definitely will need to try for dinner, so we went for them at night. At both...times the service was great by both girls on their shifts. Had a great time here and they kept asking and providing a good service.More

We have eaten at Ruby’s Diners in other towns but this was our first time in Whittier. My wife and I each had the Cobb Salad which is lower on calories depending on the dressing ordered. My son and his wife each ordered a burger...with fries and a peanut butter cups shake. Our three young grandchildren had chicken fingers. The food was well prepared and delivered on a timely basis. This is a great family restaurant and the prices were reasonable.More

Red and white decor fits right into Valentine's Day. During the month of February if you receive their emails, the special is buy one milkshake, get one free. The hamburger combo is consistently good, cinnamon French toast was delicious and the chocolate raspberry shake yummy!

We attended the weekly car show at Whitwood and went to Ruby';s for dinner. Service was good, Food typical burger joint fair.....fries were better than average. Three of us ate for $40 so not expensive but not McDonald's either.

We were greeted with a smile at this charming diner with a nostalgic vibe. My husband had the patty melt with sweet potato fries and I had the turkey burger with salad. The meal was served with little wait and the waiter stopped by frequently...to ask if there was anything else we needed. The food was delicious. I noticed that meals currently are free for 12 and under on Tuesdays.More
