The Landing has a gorgeous setting on the lake and tasty food. My wife and I ate here on 7/6 and enjoyed the shrimp and scallops stir fry and the sea bass. Our server (Clarrisa) was a doll, and the bus boys (men, actually) were...friendly: refilling our water glasses, lowering the sun shade, bringing us boxes for leftovers, etc. Our white wine (the Cline Voignier) was the perfect complement on a warmish evening. We could have done without the intrusive birds that we had to swat away a few too many times. On a positive note, there's a bottle of hand-sanitizer on every table.More

worst service ever. manager incapable, rude and unprofessional. there were service issues the night we came to eat there, the food wasn't arriving on time, some of it was cold, the waiters weren't clearing the table before adding new dishes (despite the lack of space...on the table),and the manager (some short kind of red haired guy) was argumentative and insulting. we heard from other people in the restaurant that he was rude to them too.More

We have been to many sushi rest. In the area. This is the freshest and probably most authentic sushi that we have eaten. It appears that many sushi rest. here believe that we are so ignorant that we don’t recognise fake sushi varieties.

While we were in the middle of our appetizers, they brought us the main dishes. We told the waiter that we are still eating the appetizers and asked them to take the main dishes back until we were done eating the appetizers. We didn't want...the mains to be cold by the time we were ready to eat them. The manager came and told us that he understood we didn't want to have the main dishes, and that they refuse to remake or reheat them. we either have to eat them cold, or pay for the appetizers and leave the restaurant. I told him that I thought he came to apologize and not to throw us out, and that I'll write about this incident online. His response: I encourage you to do that.More

Hello Yoav, We're sorry to hear that you are so upset about your experience that you are willing to misinform the public about what happened. Your server offered to hold your dishes for you and you insisted that we remake all of them, and in...More

If you can overlook the spotty service... then this a great place to people watch and soak up a little sun on the patio while overlooking the lake. The chopped veggie salad is my favorite and I appreciate that this restaurant has several gluten free...options. It’s a small establishment so call ahead for dinner, but you should be ok for lunch. If you want to sit inside, that’s an option too. Take a stroll after lunch and enjoy the views.More

Unacceptable amateur service , not understanding food allergies, and only verbally saying sorry but doing nothing to rectify. I left hungry. Do not go there unless you are desperate for romantic views!

This restaurant has a view of the lake and of the surrounding hills. The food and service is great. The prices are on the high side but you pay for tha location and ambiance.

This restaurant's specialty is definitely the setting: Beautifully located next to the Westlake Lake. Even though the whole setting of the restaurant seems very high-end, the food is very reasonably priced. The whole view of the lake is more memorable than the food unfortunately. Even...though I enjoyed the food, it was not excellent. Just good food. In all honesty, I might have raised the bar too much due to the high-end atmosphere of the place. Nevertheless, still recommended.More

Our group of ten generally enjoyed dinner, with a beautiful outdoor table view of the lake and pleasant service. My chicken picatta had a tasty white wine cream sauce with capers, but from the lean appearance and dry texture of the "chicken" I could swear...I was eating turkey breast sliced from a large Thanksgiving bird. It did not even appear to be pounded thin, but rather sliced. The sautéed vegetables were excellent. The mashed potatoes have a dressed up appearance with pieces of skin in the mash, but I am not a mashed potato epicure. Generally a bit overpriced.More

I have in the area for 17 years and have not noticed any flies especially on the water in Westlake Village. It's dry weather and no humidity! Great place to eat outside year around!
