This is an easier review for me to write, don't have much to say. Its simply pathetic! I tried buffet lunch today, and none of the dishes - dal makhni, kadi, paneer, chole - was worth even tasting. Having said that, i must acknowledge that the restaurant was packed, which explains its popularity. May be I am a misfit for... More

I've been coming to this place for several years and decided it was time to give them a review. Obviously I love the place. It's the best in the Sacramento area. If I have you more than once, it's gotta be good. The dining area is rich in middle eastern decor. The staff is wonderful and very attentive to your... More

This is a great restaurant in a not so great location. Parking is difficult, but worth the effort. It has a wide variety of choices including the standard tandoori and butter chicken, but includes goat and other vegetarian selections. I've been here a few times over many years and it is one of my East Indian friends' top choices.

Wide range of choices refreshed regularly. Naan served at your table. Perhaps THE best in the region.

Getting in my 10,000 daily steps, I ate my way thru the buffet line for the whole three hours. I walked across the dining room, a dozen times, to load up on the goat curry; lamb; and butter chicken; washed down with masala chai. The mango soft serve over gulab jamun balls was the dessert after pupus of eggplant pakoras... More

We always have an excellent meal when we go to Pooja's. Our son visited India and he said the food there in India tasted just like the food in West Sacramento at Pooja's!

first let me say I go here at least a couple times a month for the lunch buffet and 98 percent of the time I am quite satisfied. However the recently introduced Friday and Sat. night dinner buffets are about 6 dollars higher, which I get but basically the food is almost exactly the same as lunch. Maybe one different... More

Quality and Taste was great and looked as if very freshly prepared using authentic ingredients. Butter Paneer, Palak Paneer, Cutlet, chicken tandoori, Chicken curry etc. mango ice cream, Rice Kheer were a good taste. Fresh and... More

This place is amazing. Naan, curries, samosas, all amazing. The curries aren't watery and thin, but thick and rich. We've tried 5 different curries so far and have been impressed with all of them. Enough said. Just try this place. I've eaten at Indian restaurants all over the states and the UK. And this is one of the best.

I had heard great things about this restaurant and went twice to sample the buffet. Arguably the buffet is not the best place to be in a restaurant especially when unattended and letting people have free rein in serving themselves. But.. The variety on the buffet was quite good. The food was a little greasier than I liked it but... More
