After a comedy show we went for a drink. Even that it was on Monday there were quite people, there was a drag queen show. The place is cool, with a patio and a big dance floor. There are people of different sort of ages. It's a good place to have a drink and dance.

Our group of four girls stumbled upon The Abbey on our search for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We were totally shocked that the restaurants in this area were mostly closed, and like an oasis in the desert, there was The Abbey. Our server was so nice, our drinks were excellent, and the food was awesome! We stayed for over... More

We came to this place for a few quite drinks and ended up having the most amazing night out. Such an incredible atmosphere with a lot of fun to be head. Plenty of space with a really funky setting. The drinks and food were great the best we had whilst traveling in LA to be honest!

This is a staple, just like Acai berry at Rawberri- Drinks are okay priced. Food is high quality but can be bland on occassion. Overall, has the most attractive guys on a given happy hour and is great for the social scene. Yum

We arrived at 6 30 pm to take advantage of Happy Hour - Mimosas were $5 each! Had a couple of flat breads and a burger, nothing more than $16 each - a bargain for the location. We sat on the patio and had a great time just drinking, eating and watching the world go by. Although the venue would... More

One of my favorite places in LA, both for eating and for the bar scene. Always lively with great service. I recommend anyone who hasn't been there to check it out.

This place was pretty cool although the drinks were expensive compared to the other numerous bars that were in the 2 block radius. The music was good and fun to dance to. I went during the night time when it was packed with people.

Stopped in late one night for dinner and drinks with friends, had so much fun we stayed till they closed and kicked us out. Great atmosphere, everyone happy and wanting to party. Cocktails good, wait staff gorgeous and people watching the best. Must do on a trip to LA.

Had a late lunch here, beautiful restaurant with a great menu we had Cesar salad (split it with my daughter) then had appetizers the meatballs and steak quesadillas. I had the watermelon martini and my daughter tried the virgin monitor both really good and refreshing. Our waiter Jose was excellent. I would highly recommend this quaint restaurant

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
