Wonderful service, fantastic coffee. What a quaint little place this is, the setting is beautiful. The servers are awesome great smiles and very fast. Delicious cabinet food and good strong menu. It's on a side street but well worth the deviation most certainly worth a visit. I will most certainly go back.

Stopped by for breakfast on the recommendation of our Air B&B host, and it was a great start to our first morning in LA. The fruit salad was a huge, and very delicious selection of fruit, my partner enjoyed his pancakes, and the complimentary basket of patries were delicious (apart from the ones containing the evil that is cinnamon). Had... More

Small restaurant with a bakery. Seating inside and out. Best French Toast I've ever had. Most enjoyable!

This cafe was a gem to find. Only small but obviously well patronized by the locals. Nice fresh food.

My partner and I found La Conversation cafe whilst staying in WeHo and were SO glad we did! What a fabulous little place! We had breakfast there twice during our visit - it's obviously popular with locals who are willing to queue for a table. The breakfasts are delicious - not ridiculous portions - which in the US is a... More

I had Eggs Florentine Very nice. Spinach was fresh. My grandson had Huevos Rancheros. He loved it. We started outside, but moved inside,as it was chilly. They were very accomodating, even though they were busy.

We go to brunch here on a weekend once or twice a year. It's really cute. So much attention went in to the interior design, which is over-the-top Frenchy French French. The baked goods are yummy good...not super special, but very good. The menu is average. The food is average. and about $5 overpriced. Food should be 2 notches better,... More

As a native Angeleno, loving the new and old haunts of this fragmented-and-disjointed-but-great-city, La Conversation takes me right back to Los Angeles as I remember it growing up. It's comforting like an old teddy bear or blanket, but still delivers on fresh, classic cafe food. It's a petite place, and there can be a wait during peak hours, but the... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
