We were recently guests at the Mondrian -- and, after a late night at the Comedy Store across the street -- basically stumbled down for a mid-morning breakfast. Talk about the right way to start your day! While we were not excited about our experience at the hotel, the breakfast and service was pretty terrific. Highly recommended!

Good food, but the Views!!!! Amazing! Just a beautiful, happy place to dine. Right off the pool with strawberry plants hanging and music under the water.

Food was delicious and the waiter was very informed of the menu and suggestions. Never rushed and readily available when service was needed for either water or wine.

I loved my stay here at The Mondrian, upon the beautiful smell from the walk in to the service of the staff. (However, manageress upon arrival proved to be difficult and rude when paying deposit for the room each night, which by the way is 50% of what you payed for the room. BE WARNED!) Do not order anything with... More

Food was below average. We ordered the ahi tar tar, charcuterie plate, and the chicken entree. The service was great and so was the view/ambiance

Had one of my best Sandwiches here, the blue crab sandwich. Rich flavors and a generous portion of crab meat together with fantastic fries. A winner

As always , our yesterdays brunch was very good . Eggs Benny , and three eggs omelette were delicious . Service was amazing . Perfect mimosas . Have designated driver . The only issues yesterday and past 5 times I had was the parking . Always something goes wrong or the wait to get your car is too long .... More

I had a few breakfasts there and a couple of lunch because I always stay at the Mondrian. The food gets worse every time, the presentation and portions very poor. The taste just average, there is something wrong there.

This spot was referred to us by our concierge. He got us a last minute reservation and even a table with a view! Food was great, service was great. View is spectacular! Go earlier for sunset or late and see the lights of the city below.

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
