Food was good, service was great. Outside dinning is the best because of the views. Quiet intimate spot. Selection of food is pretty good especially for someone with shellfish allergies

I've been going to this place for years and never disappoints. It's in a great location overlooking Sunset. It's definitely a "scene" and you'll see famous people here and there. Not cheap, but not incredibly expensive.

Primarily this is a cool place to hangout. I was expecting really good food but I think the food misses the mark a little. It's pricey and I've had better elsewhere. The crunchy tuna roll isn't crunch enough as they have rolled it in batter and deep fried it. It works much better when tempura crunch is just added to... More

Dining on the outdoor terrace at Katana on a warm summer evening is an absolute delight. This is one very sophisticated (and yet not snobbish) restaurant. A sign on street level (you climb a flight of stairs to reach the restaurant) says that a strict dress code applies, but don't be alarmed by that, I was quite casually dressed (jeans... More

Exceptional offerings of Robata, Sushi and Japanese cuisine make Katana a real find. Many choices of appetizers and entrees make this a shared dining experience so that you can sample from beautifully prepared dishes.

God the food is great. Literally fantastic. One of those places where every course is to die for. Atmosphere in here is 5/5 and the staff are all extremely well versed and look great. It's not a cheap night out but who cares when you have a fab night.

Ate there with two colleagues while in town on business. At around 5:30pm on a Thursday, we were able to get a 7pm table for three. The decor was very cool, and the service at first was excellent. The food ranged from pretty good to amazing - mostly on the amazing end of the spectrum. When they got busy the... More

Excellent food with a big variety of choices for everyone. The layout of the restaurant was cozy yet luxurious. Drinks were tasty and staff professional. Great spot to meet up with friends for a small bite to eat and drinks.

I can't say enough. I sat at the sushi bar, in front of the Executive chef and watched and choose nigiri and sashimi. Everything was fresh and spectacular. I recommend the seared toro nigiri. I definitely will be back. Steve

Katana is an extraordinary beautiful Japanese restaurant serving Robata, a form of Japanese tapas, traditional sushi, and a unique variety of Japanese cuisine. There is a Robata and sushi bar, and spectacular patio dining overlooking Sunset Strip.
