Service was very good and the food was excellent. Not a quiet place but the atmosphere is nice, and dimly lit place for any type occasion. Only criticism is that inside tables are very cramped. Waiters cannot fit between tables to converse, take orders or serve your food and drinks. It would be worthwhile to reserve a booth.

The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere. Booths are nice and separates the diners. The food however is avearge. Not bad but not up to the hype of having an award winning chef. Okay but there are probably lots of others with similar quality food.

We have been to this restaurant at least 10 times. We love the food. Farm to table, California Mediterranean. No tricks, just good perfectly prepared food. Nice starter of their almonds and Lucques olives and their incredible bread. This past Sunday we went for Sunday supper which is a prix fix meal at $52.00. We sat in the patio area,... More

Last Sunday, my sons and I enjoyed the prix fixe dinner and drinks. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was attentive and the food was excellent. My entree, a pork chop atop ground cheddar bread ( kind of like polenta) was the BEST meal of my trip to L.A. We had a fantastic time. We would recommend this place for... More

The price fixed Sunday night dinner is a real treat. The outdoor terrace was beautifully landscaped & very pretty. The food & the service were both A+ I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a great meal this week at Lucques. I had a redeye back to the East Coast but was able to dine at Lucques before leaving LA. First, I appreciate the small size of the restaurant, giving all diners a cozy feel. Second, the lighting was dimmed -- since I had a redeye that was perfect. Also seemed to make... More

Excellent environment. Unfortunately the menu does not offer many options, food's quality is good (but not parallel with price). Taste their bread with the butter and salt, great.

A group of us came for my birthday meal. The food was generally fine but i've eaten better in LA. At one stage a waiter dropped a bottle of red wine over me. Fortunately, i was wearing black. He didn't then replace the bottle, just topped up our glasses and then when the bill came, I had to ask the... More

We LOVE this restaurant and have written ecstatic reviews about it in the past. But this Sunday ho-down rib fest was not good. The ribs were not great and arrived in a pool of their own oil in a big dish family style, the corn breas was boring, the corn on the cob tasteless, the peach cobbler was actually bad.... More

The location is very nice, the food is great and the service is very good. The personnel is particularly kind and the atmosphere is very friendly. It is the right place to enjoy a very accurate cusine in a familiar environment.

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
