We were hungry, in Hollywood and decided to valet the car at the Roosevelt and have dinner here. The good things , valet, quick and easy, walk upstairs to the restaurant get seated in 10 mins ... We then waited quite a while to get drinks, order, be given some water which isn't a big deal, but the place wasn't... More

I had a wonderful experience overall. I was having dinner at Public the other night, and a girl named Andrea escorted me and my boyfriend up. She was incredibly friendly and also pointed out the stairwell where Shirley Temple learned to dance! It was amazing to be in a place with so much history and also, to be a part... More

Oh man, ordered sea bass with gluten free options. Instead of cous cous, the chef made this magical cauliflower cous cous-like stuff. It was unbelievable! The atmosphere, the food...well I am one grateful woman.

What an awesome place to have a meal. The food was better than expected and I'd say it was very good. We had the Brussels sprout salad ( not like your mother used to make)... Awesome!!! and the lobster rolls... Then a salad and the New York steak... Very well cooked and presented with good service in a 1920's antique... More

Staying nearby, and in search of dinner which did not consist of burgers and fries, we navigated our way through the 'circus' of Walk of Fame to discover this oasis within the Hollywood Roosevelt. It was peaceful bliss in an iconic, retro hotel, and the food did not disappoint. We shared mini Maine lobster rolls, and pork chop with broccoli... More

Following a day touring the sights, celebrity homes, eclectic places of Hollywood and Beverly Hills (loved Vinny Jones' flag) we settled down at the Public Kitchen and Bar, attached to the Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. We didn't want fast food, or a chain, but somewhere with great food and a beer! We weren't disappointed. Reuben's Sandwich, full is pastrami... More

The hotel was half-closed off for a movie opening and we had to eat at this restaurant, also we had an early morning flight. Normally the 'small plate' designation raises an eyebrow: small plate = still hungry? In any event, the portions were large, very tasty and filling. We would recommend the meat balls (with yellow raisins); the baby salad;... More
