Best guacamole in town (made fresh at your table) and insanely large and tasty burritos (check out the Hollenbeck special). This is where locals have gone for decades for a great and comfortable traditional LA-Mex meal. There is also a very nice bar and big screen TV for sports days.

We go quite often. More for the drinks than the food. The people who have worked there through different owners are the best. They always stay pleasant when you know that some of the new changes are hard on them. Main complaint is the bad plumbing in the restrooms-never seem tobe able to get it fixed.

Not authentic mexican food, drinks are ok, food leaves a lot to be desire. I leave a couple of blocks away and have been there maybe 1 in five years because it doesn't seem to change or push the envelope. It is good for banquets as I have used it before for awards dinners.

Surprisingly affordable, great steak and perfect Mexican dishes. When I visit West Covina, I always go there and no reservation is needed. My grandmother loves it and she's 90 years old. I can't wait to take her there again soon! I always get a Chile Relleno and Steak and whatever I can't finish I take to go. Two margaritas is... More

I live nearby and have seen it so many times when I drive by. I finally took the plunge and stopped this week. The parking lot was full. The staff was friendly when we entered. It looks a little dated but I liked it. Very interesting. Myan paintings on the wall, very cute. The salsa was so spicy I could... More

Large waiting area, which was nice. Waited about 10 min for a table on a Friday night, which I thought wasn’t too bad. Service was nothing special. My meal was ok. I ordered tacos. I felt it was a little overpriced though. It came with a soup, but it was horrible in my opinion. The soup really just made me... More

We've been to this restaurant many times, and every time the cocido (beef stew) is great. Always have a michelada (kind of like a bloody mary made with beer) with my dinner and its delicious. The interior of the restaurant is a little tired but the food is alway good. We have had the chicken tacos and the chile relleno... More

We was just there on Sunday, they had football on several tv's, a good turnout for mid day Sunday. Food is very tasty and fair prices. The beer was very cold and service was good. This is a place you must try, its a little hard to find for first timers
