TERRIBLE!!! Terrible service and food. We had a private banquet room for a wedding reception. The "custom" cake was wrong (we later found out they knew it and said nothing.) Note it was a strawberry whipped cream cake for 8 people. It had only 4...strawberries. It was to have large chocolate curls around it -- not there. As it was the buffet, the server, who was paid to be our private server only had to take plates and serve beverages. I had to get up multiple times to find him to get beverages. Even a complaint to the manager had not response. He served served the host first, not the hostess and the ladies -- per proper educate and he served food sometimes from the right (should be the left) and took from the left (should be right.) He clearly had no training. The fee from his service was $100, plus a minimum of 20%, amounting to $260 for 2 hours of almost no service. That is only a part fo the it -- you get the idea -- BAD! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g32389-d509645-r730065068-Scott_s_Seafood_of_Folsom-Folsom_California.html#More

Sorry for all the misspellings in my previous review. New phone and very angry equals an incoherent review. The Scott's Seafood experience was probably the worst dining experience in my life and people need to know that the negative reviews are absolutely spot on. Their...Walnut Creek Location needs to be totally revamped and the negative attitude along with the "Punishment" of lagging service and a completely unacceptable 4 hour meal needs to change NOW! If properly run this location would have made thousands of dollars more by accommodating their patrons in a smooth manner.More

A group of eight went for dinner following a Sunday afternoon concert, we arrived early and relaxed in the bar before being seated. By the time we were finished with dinner, the entire dining room was packed. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food; I...split a spinach salad with one of the party (that was plenty), two others split a shrimp, tomato and avocado salad (half was very ample). I enjoyed the petrale sole for dinner, it was prepared perfectly, but enough for a hungry man (so I took leftovers home). Several in the group enjoyed the cioppino and loved it! Everyone's entrees were substantial in size and nicely prepared. Next time I would order a full spinach salad with a cup of chowder and that would be the right amount of food for me. There was piano music during dinner, which was nice! The seating is very tight with adjacent tables, the area we were in had a step down to get to the table.More

I've eaten at Scott's before, it's food. They overbooked their restaurant for Thanksgiving. A lot of elderly people come here. There ownership should have more consideration for older people and have more places they can sit. The restaurants in Santa Fe NM are more accommodating....Come to New Mexico leave the incosiderate restaurants in California behindMore

My husband and I along with our good friends, enjoyed lunch together. Scott’s is a true and tried restaurant in Walnut Creek. My husband and I have been patrons here for many years. We have always loved the ambiance, quality of service and food. The...seafood has always been fresh. My husband and I like the valet service. Today we enjoyed their extensive wine and cocktail menu. We loved their lobster bisque, seafood salad, clam chowder and blackened catfish. Scott’s has always proven to be quality for us.More

Great from start to finish. Valet parking. Immediately server brought water and bread. Wife enjoyed kumamoto oysters. My romaine salad with cucumber and tomato was fresh as can be. Huge menu, mostly seafood but OK for meat eaters. My herb-crusted halibut - best ever, as...was wife's calamari. We noted this was sort of an anniversary (56 years since first date), still merited having photo taken and a fresh rose. Yummy chocolate cake, key lime pie. Great service though she forgot charge for soup and salad, when brought to her attention, she said ignore it. Prices on high side but well in line for special occasion.More

I had only been to Scott’s for a banquet. I’m sorry I hadn’t returned sooner for dinner. Delicious seafood and great service! Recommend to all.

Everything is exceptional here, well almost everything. The service is ecceptional. I questioned whether there were scallops in the choppino and was told that their dishes were made from scratch and there would be no problem in honoring my request. My we enjoying our starter...and drinks somebody approached me to double check that I had no other fish allergies. The cioppino was delicious and there was enough left for me have two more meals at home. I am a pretty hearty eater. The only thing I didn’t care for was the key lime pie.More

I enjoy this location because of it's entry way and 'warm' feeling. Quite some time ago I've dined at the other locations (Oakland and San Francisco) but I prefer the Walnut Creek place the best. My friend was celebrating his birthday, so 3 of us...dined on a Friday evening. I ordered the caesar salad and Atlantic salmon as the entree. They offer 6 ways to cook the salmon. I asked for blackened and it was perfect in taste and cooked just right. The service was really great as well. I'm not a dessert fan so I passed. I am happy to recommend Scotts Walnut Creek for any occasion to celebrate.More

I believe that there are some vegetarian options, but don't know what they include. Scott's may publish their menus on-line.
