It was Valentines Day and the first night of the World AG Expo. They seated 12 of us and although they were packed, our service was impressive, our drinks were timely and our meals were great. We had a wide variety of entrees and everyone was pleased. I would go back.

I would not recommend over price, plus waitress need training on how to be excellent waitress, the owner chef needs to be trained by Gordon Ramsey. New Year's Eve was horrible, no side was given to my son then was treated as if, it was our fault for not asking. We waited for 2hrs for our food to come out.... More

We went for my sister's birthday, on a Sunday around 5 p.m., thinking it wouldn't be too crowded. We had a lovely meal, not one thing wrong with that; husband had the abalone and I had steak, both delicious. Also, our server was fantastic. However, she was the only server in the place! I eventually saw other staff, but at... More

Went back to the Vintage Press for an informational meeting. We were a group of about 20-25. Very good food and service. I have never had a bad experience here. Go and enjoy.

Pretty much the same menu overly sauced and overly charged with too many flavors. Overall good food but not to the discerning traveler, the ambiance is great and the service is very good. They cater to the good people that are willing to pay the price. A modern cook that captured what the local land has to offer in an... More

First off I would like to say that I'm not sure how anyone has ever rated this restaurant bad. It was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted and were told "happy anniversary" by different staff. We then were seated and were offered complimentary champagne because of our anniversary! What an awesome touch and a great... More

We were staying in Visalia for my birthday so we could visit Sequoia National Park. We looked on TripAdvisor for reviews of the local restaurants and picked the Vintage Press and were highly impressed. It is a beautiful Victorian building, and just lovely inside. There is an old fashioned bar, complete with the old time cash register. The lighting was... More

Second trip to VP for brunch, this time as a pre-Christmas family get together. When we arrived we were greeted with an empty reception and no hostess to be found. Other staff were wandering around aimlessly and that set the tone for the rest of the visit. Having waited about five minutes the hostess arrived and we were seated in... More

I'm sitting here at a great old wooden bar, finished with my delicious crab cake appetizer/dinner and I haven't seen the bartender since she sat my food down. I travel for work so eat solo often and sit at the bar always. I'm the only patron at the bar and only 4 tables are sat. She could have sold AT... More

Some great some just needed to be better for the High end restaurant it is. We had a business dinner choosing to sit in the bar area. Nice area as it always has been. Our guest arrived then drinks were ordered. Soon a different hostess came back informing us they did not carry the beer that was ordered. Ok, change... More
