We love breakfast and don't usually eat it until most people are done with lunch. A place like Valhalla is a gem to us, especially when the food is so good. I had an omelette with mushrooms, olives, and cheese. I don't usually have olives in my omelette but I will in future. The portion was huge (we shared my... More

One of the best omelettes, full of fresh veg. The aebelskiver pancake balls as a side were a great treat and the fruit side was fresh and generous! Friendly waitress, good kids pancake, and homemade jam. Only advice is of your youngest child is 5 or older don't sit in the kids room. They offered it to us but once... More

Great place for BF and lunch, based mostly on the Vikings menu (which means a lot of meat and sausages) they do have some vegi options, i do recommend the fresh orange juice.

Visited Valhalla for first time and enjoyed the fun atmosphere. Friend had a small child and they have a room set up with some tables and cooking set toys for kids to play at while you enjoy a lunch. Very nice gift shop and the prices are reasonable. They are a Dutch restaurant and have a nice breakfast and lunch... More

I took my son and grandkids here for lunch. I have never seen a place that has a special room just for families with kids. The kids could play with the toys there till lunch came. It was great. The food was good. Large portions. Nice place. I will be back

I have been breakfasting weekly with a group of friends at Valhalla Restaurant for the past three years, and am never disappointed. It is family owned, and the servers and staff give warm, personal attention to their guests. My favorite breakfast is the Danish pancakes served with Apricot jam (and tea, of course), and the Aebleskivers are delightful! There is... More

Valhallas is my families favorite breakfast restaurant in Visalia. It's a little Danish place located in the old "downtown" area of Visalia. They make beautyful and delicious Ableskivers (Danish Pancakes) served with delicious homemade jam. They also make the best biscuits and gravy, but only in Saturday mornings. They are closed on Sunday's and don't serve dinner.

The fresh squeezed orange juice is a must have. We tried the medisterpølse and aebleskiver. They were interesting. Worth a try. I also tried the Hawaiian pancakes (pineapple coconut and almond). They were good. Too sweet for me.

When I first went to Valhalla I was very skeptical about the food as I didn't know what to expect. But, I had heard a great deal about this place and the rumors said it was great breakfast spot. I went and have to say it was great food and great service.

Thank Carmen B
