Amir's is a small, modest place. They serve Middle Eastern food. They have a good, varied menu of foods. I had lamb and vegetables. Terrific. Perfectly seasoned and prepared. I enjoyed a fruit flavored malted beverage that they import from the Middle East. The hummus was fresh and smooth with just the right taste. All of the food is prepared... More

Fresh vegetables and fruit used in a made-to-order fashion create grat products. The light version of Lentil soup seasoned with fresh lemon was wonderful. Tabouleh, a personal favorite, is the best I have ever tasted. Stuffed grape leaves also excellent. Restaurant is clean and service is pleasant.

Visited today for the first time. I had a chicken swarma pita wrap. It was small and tasty however the fries were more like oiled potatoes. They were soggy and not crisp with little flavor. I could not eat them. My son got the chicken kabob plate which was good: few small pieces of meat, a couple sautéed vegetables and... More

I am a little confused with the background of the food. I wasn't sure if it was Jewish with the Falafel option, the kabobs being Armenian, or the lamb being Arabic. Either way the food was delicious. Enough flavor in everything and the hummus tasted fresh, the rice was good, and the chicken/steak/lamb was great. Atmosphere is bold and the... More

Amie's was recommended to us by a local and we headed on in for dinner. The staff were very welcoming and the venue was clean and inviting. We ordered 4 appetisers as we did not want a big meal. The food was delicious and we even took some home. Generous portions and very tasty - great value and highly recommended.

On a business trip to Visalia I ran across Amir's Kabob. The food was spectacular! My coworker and I both had the kabob meal that came with three different kabobs, rice, hummus and pita bread. We were extremely impressed with the food and really enjoyed our meal. For some tasty Middle Eastern food, Amir's Kabob is outstanding!

Had read all previous reviews and was hopeful as I'd seen the "under new management" signs but unfortunately it was disappointing at best. Service was fantastic, and relatively speedy. Was surprised at the price (more expensive than previous reviews indicated) but was looking forward to trying the food. Given the food, it was horrifically overpriced. We were given huge mounds... Recommended by others in LA so we tried it. The phone number has been changed and there was a sign "under new management". We ordered Beef and Chicken Shawarma, Chicken Kabob and Kufta Kabob. The portions were adequate with rice, salad, hummas and a couple pieces of flat bread. The hummas was salty but okay. The meats were cooked well... More

I was looking to eat some authentic Middle Eastern food and have to say it fell well short of that. I hardly ever write reviews, but the food was so bad that I feel obligated to do so. I love dive shops and by far this is the wose place! I ordered a sample platter with my cousin. It came... More

After placing my order, I proceeded to the bathroom only to see two cockroach's in the hall on the way to the bathrrom, with more on the bathroom floor. This not only disgusted me, but had I not purchased the Groupon and been traveling from WI I would have left. Since we were there we placed our orders against our... More
