We rolled into town hoping for a light, late dinner. We were very impressed with their fresh sushi (Alaska rolls), salads, and big portions. We left happy!

Everything was too greasy. Dumplings fried and greasy. Teriyaki Chicken was NOT stir-fried - it was breaded and fried (who breads teriyaki chicken!). Tables icky - cafeteria style. Boxes / back of restaurant stuff in plain view.

Corkage fee reasonable -$7. They just opened the wine and provided chilled glasses. Brand new waitress, not familiar with menu, had one of the cooks come to explain menu. Cucumber salad stated it came with seafood, no seafood in sight (fine with me). Miso soup was bland and barley warm. Disjunction in serving food. I had a cooked dinner, which... More

I've been going to Tachibana for over 20 years....originally when Eddie started the business next to the Racquet Ball courts on Mooney Blvd.! This is family operated and they are so friendly. I especially like Eddie's spicy tuna. We live in Three Rivers so I sometimes eat here whenever I'm in this section of town. A friend of mine, also... More

It's a surprising typical japanese restaurant in Visalia. My wife and me came to visit the Sequoia Park and we were a looking for a light dinner. Our meals were very nice, looking like a Confort Food made by our parents and grandparents. The price was honest.

My wife and I used to LOVE this place when it was a small family run business on Mooney blvd. some 10 years ago...but times (and locations) apparently change... of course they do...but I'll admit to being a bit saddened that almost everything we loved about Tachibana's seems to have been left in the past...what now brings, for us at... Tachibana's since their relocation has continued their tradition of fantastic quality food, and amazing service. Reasonably priced, and some of the best sushi I've ever experienced. (I've been to Tokyo, Japan.) If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out.

Excellent fresh sushi. Good size portions at reasonable prices. Regular stop when in Visalia. Sushi chef is the owner.

Had shrimp tempura, which was crisp and fresh. Rolls were just okay. Took forever to order and longer to be served. Not awful but not worth the money.
