It is an american restaurant, great burguers! Service is ok, they explain to you some route 66 and restaurant history to abroad people, like me, jaja. I like it, you can take very good pictures around.
Small and Very Busy. Plan on a wait if you come at busy times.
There was four in our party. Two ordered omelets, one order bacon & eggs and I order the ham steak & egg. The waitress asked if I wanted a full or...½ order. I said full & she just nodded & smiled. All food came out and cooked perfectly. The ham steak came out on its own plate. You don’t see them this big anywhere else. It was a bone-in ham, very tasty.
Will be back for sureMore
My planned first stop on my Route 66 - Mojave Preserve - Joshua Tree vacation, and it lives up to its reputation in spades. Great service and terrific food - Trucker’s Special sandwich, onion rings, and a fantastic vanilla shake. Was lucky to get in...just before peak lunch hour. Would be a regular if I were a local! Worth going out of your way to visit; lucky me: it was on my selected vacation route all along.More
Spent 4 weeks and 4500 miles on a road trip, stopping at the local diners on the way. Emma Jeans was our very first diner and definately the best. The sandwich was incredible and the Cherry and Apple Coblers were to die for. Great Staff...- thanks Lamon for the amazing food and experience.More
This is a pretty small family owned diner off the beaten path but on the old hwy 66 route. There are only a few tables and some counter seating inside. This isn’t gourmet- just a classic sandwich and grill stop. Folks seem to go for...the Brian Burger. Plan to wait if you are going during peak lunch hours.More
