My wife and I went there and ate on the buffet. It was good for a buffet. We had the prime rib it was acceptable. The lobster was ok.

They are, however, likely to be the only thing you remember after indulging in this grandiloquent Las Vegas style casino buffet. Also on offer are prime rib, crab legs, oyster on the half shell, short ribs, peeled shrimp, and a host of other ethnic specialties and assorted desserts. Did I mention the clam chowder is outstanding? At $32.95 for dinner... More

I enjoyed everything I ate. Dessert bar is really nice. Service was impeccable. Choices are limited.

finally we made it to the Buffet at Valley View. it took a long time for us to get here but it was worth the wait. The variety of food made my eyes open wide and my stomach growl!! I didn't realize I was so hungry! they had a soup and salad bar . There was an asian food section... More

My wife and I are big fans of different buffet restaurants. We both love Sterling Buffet in Las Vegas, and we love Valley View Buffet in Southern California. I don't know any other buffet that brings us a big plate of lobster cooked with their spicy sauce. We also enjoy shrimp, snow crab legs, and tuna sushi from their seafood... More

We are Snowbirds for 3 months and like going up to the mountains and stopping in at the casinos for a good meal. We played the slots for an hour with our rewards card. We stopped here because the sign said $10 lunch buffet. We stood in line for 45 minutes. We got to the till and they said we... More

I don't like buffets because the food is not normally hot or doesn't have any taste. Valley View's food is always hot, choices of food stretches over many food types, Spanish, oriental, Italian, seafood, American and many more. Their soup and salad bar has a large variety. The lobster is delicious and the crab legs are split so you don't... More

As an Australian resident I appreciate good sea food, and I was very eager to eat at this buffet on my first visit to San Diego. While the unlimited Lobster, Crab Legs and Shrimps look and tasted great, I am unfortunately having to rate this buffet a 1 star because i was poisoned by the food. Immediately upon returning to...
