So, In visiting my friend at his place in Napa he was pretty adamant about checking out this Pho place in neighboring Vallejo. His wife had just gotten off her shift and we swing by and picked her up to have some soupy goodness. I'm...by no mean an expert of Pho, but I can say I have a few Vietnam restaurants under my (expanding) belt. The location itself was easy to find. The store shares the same strip mall for a Burger p[lace, and not one but 2 sandwich shops. Not to mention a Chinese food restaurant, a taco truck and bread shop are directly across the street. So competition for you food money is fierce on this little block. The inside decour was pretty basic, a few items made gave it a "if Dennys were asian" kinda vibe. What was throwing me for a loop was the 70's and 80's easy rock pumping thru the speakers. It was only 11:30 and the place was already way busy, but we were able to get a seat the moment we walked in. The menu was/is extensive but after a bit I could tell what was what. Everything had rice noodle and the options for beef went from meatballs, thin sliced steak, brisket, flank, tendon in various combinations. There were also Seafood and chicken Options (4 each) as well as Wonton Noodle Soups. I found it interesting that there was a beef stew section whihc I was going to ask the waiter about (as in what's the difference) but Phil Collins telling me he was "playing for keeps" distracted me at the time of the order. Service was fast. My friend being a vegetarian for the last few months, opted for vegan friendly item and his wife went with one of the chicken dishes and asked for the chicken to on ths side (in case my friend wanted to try her pho). We also ordered some fried tofu and spring rolls. I enjoy the exercise of "building" my pho, from adding in the sprouts, chilies, sauces and lemon. In a way it almost like thinking Ill never quite have the same Pho twice due to the condiments available at whichever location I'm at. The place had the full set. 4 sauces 2 different types of soy, the hot paste (I never really have asked what it's actually named). The base broth was very flavorful, whihc made me wonder again about stew.. Ill have to try it next time to see if there's a difference. The service was left to be desired, it seemed to more of a DYI in that aspect, and when a spoon fell on the floor we were "pointed" to where to get a replacement. But to be fair, it was pretty nonstop from when we sat to when we left. My large bowl was filling, yet I did finish it all in our sitting, I was pretty hungry, admittedly. I noticed I probably wouldn't try any other dishes since they are price. And It seemed the different bowls are just removing a type of beef. With appetizers and tip it came to about 37$ But it is a self check out and the line to the register gets long at time. At least TOTO telling you that "she's waiting there for you" helps pass the time to get to the cashier.More

...mì xào hải sản in Vietnamese. It was very good, and I ate it all. The sauce could have been a tad thicker though. It came with a little cup of a thick chicken broth I guess it was which was excellent. Hey I left...my bag here (with some valuables in it) and these people returned it untouched. Give these people an A for honesty.More

Doing work on house in Vallejo, and discovered Pho 1 as the hardware store was nearby and we were hungry. There's a parking lot that might be shared with the Burger place next door. Pho 1 also has a deli style pop up for banh...mi sandwiches and other go to foods (we have not tried it yet). Walk into Pho 1, immediately you will see pop of green and red accent colors on the walls. There are a number of tables for 4, 8 or even, the "community table for 12". Greeted quickly with menu and order for beverages. The menu is rather extensive. Food comes quickly & is delicious & generous portions. Have ordered pho, noodle soup and rice plates. The chicken broth soup with rice plates is really soothing. As hubby said, "I could eat here every day and never tire of it". I'm not sure about every day, but Pho 1 will not disappoint you. Clean restrooms and overall, the restaurant is very clean. Must try!More

We've been trying Pho, and this was the 2nd restaurant in Vallejo we tried. This one seems a little more casual than Pho Vallejo. The food was comparable, but the service and atmosphere was better at Pho Vallejo.

Wonderful Pho!! Two meals out of it almost. Broth needs no taste adjustment...a little soy sauce and packets included of fish sauce and spicy red sauce.Love it and will always stop by if I’m on that side of town🥰

Fresh ingredients fast serve made to order. Good place to tuck into a large bowl of soup or some nice chicken and pork dishes.

Great place to stop on the way San Francisco to Napa or Tahoe. Surprisingly nice inside if you are expecting a typical “hole-in-the-wall” pho place. Beef pho and beef balls were authentic and tasty. Friendly service too!

There are choices in Vallejo for Pho places. So far, this is my number 1 Pho place in town. Their spring rolls (A2) is always fresh. Their noodle soups are yummy. I usually order #1 beef noodle soup. Their rice plates are large and delicious....I'll take pictures next time.More

Last minute plans to go to dinner before a show. Location is great with plenty of parking. Inside the dining area there us enough room for large groups. Service is very fast and of course the food is great too. The banh mi sandwich shop...next door is owned by the same people so if you choose, you can order a sandwich and eat it in the restaurant as well. This was our second visit and look forward to going back again.More

We LOVE Pho noodle house. Great food and reasonable prices. My husband had seafood pho and I had vermicelli salad with shrimp. Oh my words amazing!
