This is so great, the ice cream was yummy and the staff were so knowledgeable on the history. We ate the ice cream outside while watching children pay. Go here for a quick treat

I went to Fenton's with some friends we had such a good time. This is an ice cream creamy which makes their own ice cream. Fenton's was first introduced to the public in 1894 by Elbridge Seth on 41st and Howe in Oakland California. Then 1961 was moved to 4226 Piedmont ave which is still in business. In 1987 Scott... We saw a billboard for Fenton's on our drive up to Sacramento, and decided to stop and check it out on the drive home as I believe it is in the Pixar movie UP! unless I'm getting it confused with another Bay Area ice cream store. I'd seen huge, chocolaty sundaes on Yelp which is what we wanted but when... More

Ice cream is awesome and the atmosphere is great. The food isn't bad. The praline and cream is my fav. Lots of choices and free samples. We will come back.

Nothing we had really stood out as anything different than a Dennys. Service was so so. They really didn't keep up on our needs but it was busy.

Been going to Fenton's in Oakland for 43 years, always get the crab sandwich and black & tan sundae. Delish and ice cream portions are huge! I especially love the thick carmel! Vacaville location is great! Food and ice cream equally good!

Lunch was just ok, and for the $ the portions were small (kids menu) the cheeseburger was all bun. No need to come back. The service was fine

Ok, my title says it all. Lunch was great, and banana split was shared by all 6 of us and we still couldn't finish it. All the ice cream was delectable.
